I took my wife there on a date this weekend. Very cozy restaurant and the food is off the charts good. My wife and I both loved our choices and would definitely go back!!!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Shorebreak. We went for Dinner for Two Thursday’s and had a great time. Fantastic food, great wine list, and terrific atmosphere.
Service was awesome...highly recommend the tasting menu!
Had a wonderful dinner during jazz fest weekend! Food was awesome! Brian was a great server
Menu was not too big but had a lot of variety. Prices were reasonable for what you got, although they were on the higher side. Like that some of the appetizers could be an appetizer or main entree. I would not recommend the pies, however. Portion was small for $10.
A hidden gem in Rehoboth! Food, wine and atmosphere is exceptional!
Excellent welcome addition to fine dining in Rehoboth beach. Rates in top 2-3
My wife, son, his girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Shorebreak Lodge Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. The menu, food, wine, service and atmosphere were amazing. The owner, Sean Pusateri, mingled with guests, assuring complete satisfaction.
BEST meal ever in Rehoboth - this amazing gastropub deserves every good comment it gets. Great happy hour with just the right amount of HH food choices. A great dinner menu - the short ribs and scallops over risotto are to die for. This is our new favorite and we'll be back many times.
Food was excellent - all 9 of us loved our choices! Service was outstanding including lots of personal attention from the friendly owner. Have to admit that the restaurant name didn’t appeal to me but they were able to take a reservation for 9 of us and we went for it based on many good reviews - so glad we did!
Food was excellent. Service was great. Kitchen lost our entree order, but Sean (owner) stepped up and made it right. Overall a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely go back. One of the best we’ve been to in RB!
Shore break is one of our favorite places. It is a great atmosphere, excellent food, great service and just a wonderful place to dine. Looking forward to our next visit.
It was our Inst time there. Service was excellent and feed was very tasty.
I would go lighter on the glaze for the steak. I would like to see rolls served instead of the garlic bread.
I would like to see some lighter broth soups as I have heart issues and GERD.
Onion Soup and chicken tortellini, etc.
Great food, knowledgeable & attentive service. Fun atmosphere.
Great service and delicious food!
Shorebreak Lodge was a pleasant surprise. The location is right off the boardwalk with food fit for foodies. The chef rivals some of the top chefs in Philly and NYC. The farm to table rings through in the freshness of food. Extensive list of wines and unique cocktails are a bonus.
This was our second meal at Shorebreak Lodge (we liked it so much the first time, we returned again). We even had the same waiter who was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and beer selections. We enjoyed our second visit as much as the first. A creative salad with grilled peaches as very tasty. My scallops were very good and my husband enjoyed his ahi. We finished off our meal with a chocolate lava cake w/ ice cream. We will definitely return again.
We had a very negative experience at this restaurant. Our dinner reservation was for 8:30 pm, we witnessed the hostess sit the 8:45 pm reservation before us and then proceeded to offer us a table in the back of the restaurant, that was not even ready. We politely declined and were told there was a 15 minute wait for another acceptable table. It was 8:34 pm when we approached the bar to wait for our table, and we did were not serviced at the bar. It was close to 9:30 pm when we sat down at our table, over 45 minutes waiting. To add insult to injury, we witnessed the hostess eating dinner and enjoying a glass of wine before we even ordered a drink from the waiter. Dining is an experience, not just a meal, and this was the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. In 5 years of using the OpenTable App this was the first time we had an issue at a restaurant. Needless to say we will never return.
My husbands steak came out undercooked. He had it sent back. It literally came back out in minutes and it went from bloody to well done and steaming. Microwave.... which they denied. We weren’t charged, which is fine. The waiter tried to explain that the grill is really hot. My husband is a GM at a DC steak house..... it doesn’t cook that fast. Tried it once but won’t be going back.
We go to this place every year when we are in Rehoboth. It always seems like we are arm wrestling for the seats in the window. Be sure to be specific where you want to sit in your reservation. Our waiter remembered us from the year before which made up for the hosts being less than respectful. The food and drinks are great. Not a seamless dining experience, but the best we have found in Rehoboth.
Disappointed. After hearing good reviews we broken from our favorite Salt Air and made reservations for Shorebreak. We ate outside with our kids and ordered ALOT. We sampled it all. Food was good, better than good, but not great. And prices leaned on great. I recommend the scallops!
Shorebreak was a nice casual place. Fish tacos, shrimp and grits and octopus were tasty. In my opinion they skimped on the octopus and gave extra sides to fill in. The high end wine listing was terrible as they gave a price for the more expensive bottles but did not give a price for a glass or by the ounce pours. Regular wine offers were quite limited.
After reading all the great reviews I expected a great meal. I left disappointed. It was just ok. Service begrudgingly accommodated a change in sides. Don’t need to go back.
Over priced and underwhelming. Way too noisy and bright, server was very slow.
Loved the food, cocktails needed a little work, will return!
The ambiance was odd on this place. The carpet tiles were dirty and pulling up and the space just didn’t feel cozy or chic.
Our waiter was wearing too much cologne and spoke so quickly it was hard to understand him. He was friendly and efficient enough.
The food was hit or miss and we should have known something was a bit awry when, next to the Spicy Shrimp on the menu it said, “a gut-buster.” We asked the waiter what this meant and someone (the owner/chef?) said its bc too many people sent it back for being too spicy. Maybe a bit more eloquent way of saying “yes, this is very spicy.”
Our salads were fine. I had the peach salad and the grilled flavor was more the flavor of gas than grilled. The mixed greens had some slimy parts and there was too much of one spice (cumin?) in the dressing. Nice salad portion and mostly enjoyable.
I had the crab cakes with edamame/corn succotash. The succotash was amazing and I would have enjoyed this more with one crab cake and double succotash. There was a sauce for the crab cakes and I asked for more considering there were two cakes and my sauce was gone after eating one. When we got the check I noticed a $2 Open food charge. I could not believe they charged me $2 for extra sauce when the entree was $32.
I was also shocked to see that my child’s penne with butter and Parmesan was $12. That dish is basically zero effort and cost about $1 for the ingredients. There was no printed kids’ menu so I would have never have expected to pay $12 for pasta for our child. Other local restaurants serve a kids’ salmon with fresh veggies for less than $10.
I have no problem paying well for good food. My husband and I had multiple alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, two salads, two entrees and our child’s meal (plus a veggie side for her). Why would a Restaurant ever nickel and dime a patron under these circumstances?
Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Rehoboth.
My meal was outstanding.
The table where we were sat had gnats flying all around.
We ordered an appetizer of deviled eggs, received three halves, and paid over $7. The food was entirely average.
The food is overpriced and the scene extremely pretentious. Avoid.
Disappointing evening here. Musty odor, somewhat unwelcoming bartender, and very slow service (while we weren't in a hurry, it was one hour and 10 minutes into our seating before we had only received the first course). Food was average. There were several other places we tried during our stay which we would rate much higher than Shorebreak.
On vacation. Enjoyed our experience there. Would go again if we came back to Rehoboth.
Had dinner with wife, daughter and her fiancé. Great food, great drinks and friendly wait staff . I definitely recommend this restaurant to friends (it was one of our dear friends that recommended this place to us years ago) - A must on our list.
Service was great and our meals were amazing!
Excellent food. Would go again.
Need more servers. And every drink I asked for the bar didn’t have. These were not hard drinks! A Bellini. A mojito. Cmon
Very accommodating, friendly staff and good food. Recommend it highly!
A TREMENDOUS find while we were on vacation in Rehoboth Beach. The menu was trendy, but not toooo trendy. The atmosphere was modern and fun. Smart beach attire is best...but this place is NOT SNOOTY! It's creative NYC style dining without the price, and with twists on beach cuisine. We met the owner as he came around the room. I think he and his wife will make this a very special "go-to" restaurant for vacationers and locals. I think we will drive 9 hr back to Delaware just to have cocktails at Shorebreak Lodge!
Really enjoyed our dinner for 4, with our two kids (11 and 13). We were very welcomed and enjoyed our meals. Definitely recommend for a special dinner in Rehoboth.
The food was good, but the service was terrible. I recommend you look elsewhere.
Great atmosphere and great food!!
