   Can’t pinpoint but I was highly disappointed. In and out in an hour… cocktails, appetizers, 2nd course and main… 1 hour… Apps were delicious, soup not so much, salad totally overdressed and steak over cooked… Service lacked attention until we were finished

   The restaurant was dead tonight; unusual for May. The food quality was superb; as always. The prices were 150% what they should be. When Vegas is more expensive than San Francisco by 50%, you know there’s a problem: business owners chasing short-term profit at the expense of a long term customer relationship. That said, the water may run out here before such a relationship would have become manifest anyway. Sigh. The wait staff definitely show signs of an extractive workplace culture. These poor folks need a vacation—and an enema.

   Service was exceptional on a busy Mothers day. However the Cowboy rib eye at 108.95 was kinda thin. We have been coming here for years. Previously the steaks were always thicker and cooked to order. We ordered the steaks medium, pink in the center. On the 500 degree plates it came out well done. NO PINK AT ALL. 21 days aged, yeah right. Grizzle and somewhat tough. Darden company had acquired Ruth Chris in June 2023. In comparison we would rather go to Longhorn steakhouse, also another Darden owned restaurant.

   Ruth's Chris has been my go-to for excellent dining for many years. This last visit was only dissatisfying because of the prices. There was nothing wrong with the food, ambience, or service. It just cost too much. My wife drank three cocktails and they cost $80.00 total plus they made her annoying. The annoying part wasn't their fault but the $80 was. I can afford fine food and don't mind paying for excellence. What I won't stand for is unfair price gouging. I'll look elsewhere for my fine dining.

    The food was mediocre and way overpriced! $40 for a glass of wine is ridiculous! They sat us close to the bathroom even though I indicated that was not my preference. The bill was $393 with the tip and we didn’t even have any desert or coffee. We will never return!
