Our server Alex was amazing. She was super knowledgeable and engaging. She coursed our omakase perfectly and had great suggestions for nigiri if we wanted to add and when to add them. The quality of the fish as at the same level if not better than that of other premium sushi places in the area. Some of the best crudo I’ve ever had!

Doko feels like a neighborhood spot, with tables of friends chatting deep into the lunch hour, parents with their kids nearby, and a convenient location next to an ice cream parlor. The menu is good for quick lunches, with sushi sets though individual orders are available for sushi and sashimi. There is a playfulness with the food, as you can have a sushi set plus a smashburger, tasty with the addition of gouda cheese and tonkatsu sauce. They also have a monthly special for "Doko Dogs" though I'll have to try that at a later time. Cocktails are flavorful, and they suggest a trip to the nearby Bar Doko may be worth a future visit as well.

Our first time here and won't be our last. We had the basic AYCE spread and it was perfect. Every dish was tasty and Kevin was friendly and attentive. We were never left wanting or needing and left full and happy.
