What a wonderful dining experience at NAN Thai in Buckhead! Formerly Chai Yo, this beautiful restaurant offers an elegant atmosphere, exceptional Thai cuisine, and genuinely warm hospitality. I enjoyed a lovely evening on the covered patio, surrounded by beautiful landscaping, architectural details, heaters, and charming table lighting. The setting is sophisticated yet inviting. With so many tempting dishes on the menu, choosing was difficult! I settled on the Kai Siam, their signature tamarind chicken with mushrooms, cashews, bell peppers, onions, celery, and pineapple in a Thai chili sauce. Absolutely delicious! A wonderful balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors, beautifully presented. My tall Tito’s and grapefruit cocktail was refreshing, although fresh grapefruit juice wasn’t available. A special thank-you to Jalin, whose attentive, personable service made the evening even more enjoyable. He was fantastic! I skipped dessert to enjoy an evening stroll to the St. Regis, but I’m already looking forward to returning with colleagues to explore more of Chef DeeDee’s menu. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended! Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next great meal!
