Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.

Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

Went to try the new menu items for restaurant week and boy did they not disappoint! The salad with peaches and tomatoes was over the top and the pasta was fresh and delicious and the dessert was amazing . Highly recommend the ice cream dessert and all the new menu items and the whiskey crush was a nice touch a prefect blend . Waiter was an 15 out of 10. !!!

Terrific birthday meal for my wife and I. This restaurant has always had great ambiance with the stone and wood and 20 foot high windows overlooking the golf course. Over the 20 plus years that we have been going there the f I od and service could be hit or miss, however the last several years have been consistently good and I would say 3 -3.5 stars. This meal was 4.5 solid. A great NY strip and amazing stuffed chicken breast were the highlites. The tuna tartar appetizer was wonderful also. Nice selection of draft beers and wines by the glass. Our waiter, Chase I believe, was headed back to school in Michigan; very timely service and good conversation. He even finished off our meal with warm scrumptious bread pudding with a candle. Great evening.

Emmy our server was wonderful and attentive. The delicious crab cakes had good size lumps of meat. The only disappointment was the bread on the tasty turkey sandwich……it crumbled and fell apart.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were so attentive and even gave us free glasses of champagne. The food was amazing and the service superb. The drinks were unique and delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

Had an intimate dinner Alexandra's and was incredibly happy with all aspects of the experience. The service was professional and attentive. Casey, our waiter, congratulated us on the special occasion we were celebrating multiple times during our meal. The food was delicious. I enjoyed my steak; it was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful seasoning that really helped me appreciate the steak.
