Great to be back here since January. Booked easily through OpenTable and I was greeted with a welcoming smile. I was shown to the table I’d requested on the booking. The decor and the mood are relaxing. I did not go adventurous on the menu. I know what I like since last visit: French onion soup - 10oz sirloin (medium) - sticky toffee pudding with gingerbread ice cream. Note: the quality of the steak means you don’t want it over done. I ask for medium as it comes just under that, which enables the flavour of the meat to shine through! If you usually have your meat burnt to a crisp, try it differently or perhaps have fish. 😇

Great service, food was good except for the chicken in the chicken and waffles dish being 50% batter and not a lot of chicken. The staff were accommodating to special requests. The restaurant is beautiful and really nice for special occasions.
