A firm favourite that we come back to time and again. Consistently good fresh food. Always a warm welcome from the staff who go above and beyond. Excellent vegetarian choices. Great value menu. Highly recommend and we will be back soon!

The cocktails were so refreshing , they had a nice variety of gin, vodka and whiskey cocktails. The food was made with fresh ingredients & so yummy . My husband and I had the kale beet salad and the fish & chips, which were just perfect.

We are a small, award winning Wine Shop opening our Wine Bar Thursday-Saturday.
There are loads of iconic bottles, hidden gems and easy drinking wines from the ‘old world’ stacked on our shelves, with €10 corkage applied we welcome you to try any of those.
Alongside we offer a variety of plates designed to share, we recommend 2-3 plates per person.
There are two parts to our Wine Bar, the Front, which is open for walk-ins and the Back, suitable for a full dinner.
Come on in and let our staff guide you towards your next favourite Producer, Region or Grape Varietal!

Excellent service and lovely food. Thank you Mateo for the complimentary Mac n cheese bites- they were delicious. Service was outstanding and attentive without being intrusive.

The bruschetta with the mushrooms was a fantastic starter, so tasty. I highly recommend the steak as a main course, it was cooked to perfection and plenty on the plate! We had a lovely bottle of rioja, which was at 29 euro a bottle, very good value. Overall we had a lovely meal and great chats with the owner. Lovely staff too. We go to this restaurant for lunch, but this was our first time for an evening meal - well worth a visit!

Bright and airy, with a vintage retro style and featuring distressed wooden tables topped in white marble, salvage greenhouse window frames and comfy linen banquettes, Salt continues Avoca’s emphasis on serving delicious, seasonal dishes with largely locally sourced ingredients. Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. We had a lovely time at Avoca's, the restaurant is ideal for families, they have high chairs, children menu and colouring pens. The food was delivious and the service great! Thank you for everything!
