Wonderful experience. Visited for husband's 50th, what a jewel this place is. The whole vibe is heaven. Service was exceptional. We ordered the food platter for two, delicious. We had 3 cocktails each, my favourite was Death in the Afternoon. Would have liked another but we needed to walk back to the hotel and we were worried our legs wouldn't work.

9 Below bar is Dublin’s hideaway for seductive cocktails and stimulating conversation. Nestled in the former basement of historical Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club, we have taken great pleasure in refurbishing our own piece of this prestigious building, originally built in 1756. A beautiful art deco Cocktail bar located on the mezzanine level of Stella Rathmines. Once a bustling ballroom in the 1920s, it’s kept all of its old-world charms. The bar serves a full drinks menu that includes delectable, expertly made cocktails and a food menu of delicious lite bites and cinema favourites 7 days a week.

The cocktail menu plays off the classics, but with a modern twist. On occasion, taking inspiration from the blockbuster movies shown in our auditorium.

Staff were lovely and v attentive, we had the cheese & charcueterie board which was fresh and tasty. Great selection of cocktails and a welcoming spritzer and popcorn on arrival!! A lovely way to celebrate a birthday.
