Brabazon restaurant is set in the lush grounds of Tankardstown House, cut stone walls, pretty florals and greenery decorate this beautifully restored room. We arrived for Sunday lunch and were warmly greeted and brought to our table. We ordered duck parfait (so smooth), veg soup, and pear & blue cheese salad , all were equally delicious. Roast Sirlion beef and pan fried cod were very good, beef served with perfect al dente veg of carrots and tender stem brocolli. Deconstructed blood orange trifles were equally good, the jelly had a strong hint of delicious blood oranges. All washed down with a perfect Italian Valpolicella. Highly recommended.
A photo of The Coach House restaurant
4.7 (70)
€31 to €50
About the restaurant
Opened under new ownership in December 2023, we are located adjacent to our existing Roundwood Stores bakery and artisan food store. Come and enjoy good food, wine, craft beer, and log fires in the beautifully restored 1820’s Coach House.
The pub is open midday until late, Thursday to Sunday, for walk-ins and reservations.
The menu is slightly more casual (as are some of the tables) but the room is cozy and the experience the same.
The restaurant is open midday for lunch and 5pm for dinner, walk-ins or reservations available.

We look forward to welcoming you.

About the restaurant
Dead Centre is not a faceless corporation…milking the beer industry for all it’s worth. Instead, we’re a tight knit crew that relies on friends, family, colleagues and other breweries to create a product that we can truly be proud of.

Fresh, flavoursome and (wherever possibly) local ingredients are what give our beer it’s character. Cutting corners here is not an option at Dead Centre Brewing. We believe you get out what you put in…so only the best goes in.

Travelling from Belfast to Killarney my wife and I stopped for lunch. We had chicken and a burger. The flavour of the sauce with the chicken was outstanding and the burger was the best I ever had. The wine list is very interesting. Service by Caolan and Pierre was first class. This is a new restaurant and the room and ambience was perfect - warm and inviting after the snow outside. If looking for somewhere to stop for lunch, look no further. Naas is lucky to have this restaurant.

The restaurant was a little cold and a little overpriced I thought at €12-15 a plate for tapas. But the food was delicious and service was good.
