About the restaurant
Argoe is a harbourside restaurant in Newlyn, a lively fishing hub that has been shaped by its essential industry for centuries, the perfect setting for a restaurant celebrating produce from the sea.

Our menus take inspiration from the coastal cookery of Europe, simple and humble restaurants showcasing the regional ingredients, famers, fishermen and growers that surround them.

Dishes are served to be shared, with a focus on whole fish cooked on our charcoal grill, alongside a wine list highlighting the regions that shape our menus.

St Ives
About the restaurant
A Neighbourhood Trattoria, in Carbis Bay, just outside the chaos of St Ives. Family run & neighbourhood focused serving seasonal and traditional, not typical, Italian food. We have a real heart for showcasing a side of Italian cuisine and culture that is often lost amongst what's more frequently seen in the Uk.

Seasonal plates paired with a carefully chosen, full-Italian wine list of over 150 wines (on rotation), daily made homebaked bread and desserts. Community and family at the forefront of how we shape our menus. The style of our service reflects this, multiple plates for the table to share, that come when they're ready, in no set order.

Open for coffee and serving fresh made sandwiches for lunch, six days a week, however we only take reservations for dinner.

Fantastic food - very elegant and incrediblytasty. Beautifully cooked fish, tender moules, fantastic deserts… insanely good sourdough, lovely saucisson and anchovy soldiers. It’s all just great food and wonderful service. A must if you visit St Ives. We even got free deserts because our mains were slightly late coming out… totally unprompted but very kind! Thanks St Eia!!

We dined here on three separate occasions during our week’s stay in Hayle due to how amazing the food and the service was. The atmosphere was so welcoming & we could not have asked for better value for money. The menu changes daily due to their local suppliers; on each visit during the week there was something new to look forward to & they catered well for all tastes. I have a dairy intolerance, this was not an issue, plenty of choice & alternatives provided. As a family of picky eaters we cannot recommend The New Inn highly enough - to a point that we returned three times in one week & drove 20 minutes out of Hayle to get there. It beat all restaurants in the area.
