This review will focus on Ancona’s mid week special of cheese wheel pasta. No too many restaurants still offer this dish let alone provide an opportunity for the customers to watch the dish being prepared. Ancona does put on this show. A fun experience to watch and an unbelievable taste treat. Their pasta is home made and the cheese wheel is very high quality. You can just have the pasta alone or add a protein. We had one dish with grilled chicken the other with sweet Italian sausage. If you are a pasta lover I highly recommend giving this treat a try.

Scalini Fedeli was opened by chef-owner Michael Cetrulo in 1995 and very quickly became New Jersey's highest rated Italian restaurant. Rated excellent by the New York Times in 1996 and New Jersey's favorite restaurant in Zagat's Survey in 2001 and New Jersey Monthly's best Italian and top 25 overall in 2007. Highlights from the menu include soft egg yolk raviolo with black truffle butter, pignoli crusted salmon with artichoke and mint agnolotti in a light tomato and basil broth and braised short ribs of beef with a cherry pepper and port glaze. Set in an historic building built in 1740, the atmosphere is slightly formal with Tuscan style vaulted ceilings finished with Venetian plaster. Tapestry and antique mirrors adorn the walls.

The minute you enter the restaurant you are treated like family and at once you are made to feel comfortable by all of the staff. The ambiance is excellent the drinks from the bar are professionally made, the wine list is superior, and the food is prepared and served in a professional manner. The staff on all levels go out of their way to ensure that your dining experience is memorable. This is the reason why Il Capriccio has such a loyal following. We cannot wait until we return.

An absolutely amazing culinary experience that you do not want to miss. We try to go on a regular basis and every time the food has been excellent. The weight staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and discreet. For us, BYOB is a plus so we pair our food with whatever wine we bring. Can’t say enough about Gregorio’s.

We had tickets to a performance at the Mayo Center. This was a perfect location for us. It’s right down the block so we only had to park once. The service and the food were both excellent.

Pavesi is a reliably wonderful experience. The service is great and the food is always good. This time I had sole special that was perfection and my husband had a short rib and burrata pasta special—also amazing. You just can’t go wrong here!

This restaurant is beautiful and high-class. The food quality is excellent and the service is impeccable. We love the fresh pasta finished off in a cheese wheel by your table. The braised lamb shank with mushroom risotto is also outstanding. And last night, I had delicious shrimp scampi with risotto. It’s a great choice for any celebration!
