Willow & Whisk was a great brunch spot! Our server, Mark, provided an excellent service throughout our meal. We ordered the cacio e pepe scrambled eggs and the mini brioche French toast—both were delicious. The eggs were creamy and flavorful, while the French toast was soft, buttery, and the perfect sweet treat. Our reservation was at 11:45, and we came a little earlier and got seated right away. We'd definitely come back!

We enjoyed crab cake sandwiches served on soft sesame buns. The savory on and under the crab cake was a delightful kind of Cole slaw with red and green cabbage. It was just exactly right. It was served with a generous portion of thin French fries. Coffee was freshly brewed and quite strong. The servers were attentive, but not intrusive. The downside was the noise level. Tables are close together and two walls are glass windows. It was very loud. If you want a relaxing lunch, come earlier than 12:15 as we did. It closes at 3 pm for lunch service. I think brunch or late breakfast would be a better choice.

For over a century, patrons have found comfort in this historic inn nestled in the heights of the Meadowlands. Opened in the 1870’s as a stagecoach inn, travelers in horse and carriages, riding along Polifly Road (later named Terrace Avenue), stopped here to eat and drink in the tavern below and sleep in one of six guest rooms above. After the turn of the 20th Century the Inn evolved into a fine dining restaurant (a popular speakeasy during Prohibition), but eventually fell into disrepair.
In 1996, the restaurant undertook an extensive renovation and on Valentine’s Day of 1997, the Inn once again opened its doors for fine dining, aptly renamed, Ivy Inn. Since reopening, the Inn has witnessed countless marriage proposals, weddings, and anniversary celebrations.
Continuing its long legacy of hospitality under new ownership as of 2025, the Ivy Inn remains a Bergen County favorite and continues to promise cherished memories for many years to come.
