The London Chop House is a revitalized Detroit institution. The restaurant aims to entertain all desires of its guests with everything from Wagyu Beef to Caviar Service and offering a Cigar/Billiards Lounge on the ground level. Live music is featured nightly and valet parking is available.

The London Chop House is open for dinner service Monday-Saturday. Private parties are available in multiple private dining spaces for groups of all sizes. The London Chop House was originally open from 1938-1991 and reopened in 2012 as one of Detroit's greatest dining traditions.

About the restaurant

The Caucus Club, located at the Congress Street level of the iconic Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish supper club featuring two distinct dining spaces, an historic bar and live Jazz. The South entrance leads guests to the elegant dining room with the stage being the focal point. The North entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.

The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. The balance of the menu features seafood and eclectic dishes that change with the seasons. Private event spaces abound, with unique menus to mark the occasion. An extensive wine list is housed in a state of the art cellar with private lockers.

Dress code is business casual at a minimum, and is strictly enforced. Please dress accordingly

Our favorite. Took 5 others there and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food was outstanding (known for steaks, but try the perch) and as usual the service from Antonio was flawless. Can’t wait to return!

The service was amazing from start to finish. You are greeted with a smile and it's so refreshing to see everyone excited that you are there. We were so happy to have Michell take care of us for the evening. She explained everything with so much enthusiasm that were took on her suggestions and was so happy we did! This will be one that I will return to with guests to introduce them to one of Detroit's best! I highly recommend the ceviche, potatoes, and ribs!

Our server Matthew made our experience a 10/10!! He was honestly perfect from the moment we sat down, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was wonderful. Every worker there was so nice and friendly, our water was never empty and our plates never stayed dirty. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant I highly recommend. 10/10!!! Also the salad is amazing!!!!

Consistently Outstanding Food and Service! If you’re looking for one of the best filets in the Metro Detroit area, look no further than Fleming’s in Livonia! Their filets are consistently served piping hot, with a beautiful sear on the outside, cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The quality of their food never disappoints. What truly sets Fleming’s apart, (other than their outstanding food), however, is their exceptional waitstaff. The servers are attentive, professional, and personable without ever being overbearing. They have a wonderful way of making you feel welcome, remembering their guests, and anticipating your needs without hovering. In my experience, they are among the finest servers you’ll find in any upscale restaurant. It’s also impressive how many of their staff members have been there since the restaurant first opened. That kind of longevity speaks volumes about the management, training, and work environment—and it certainly shows in the level of service they provide. The atmosphere is equally inviting, offering an elegant yet comfortable setting where you can enjoy a relaxed meal and carry on a conversation without competing with excessive noise. Yes, Fleming’s is a little pricey, but in my opinion, you truly get what you pay for. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and a consistently enjoyable dining experience make Fleming’s one of my absolute favorite restaurants!
