Great food. We shared the wedge - it was a nice portion with a flavorful dressing. And I had the New York and he had the shrimp and grits. Both were quite good and the portions were large that we had leftovers for another meal. We were celebrating his birthday so we asked for recommendations and were happily pointed toward the cheesecake with huckleberry sauce. Again we happily took leftovers back to our cabin. We will be back when we are in the area. A nice casual spot for great food with a menu that offers something for everyone.

Freestone Restaurant is an upscale-casual restaurant in Kalispell, Montana, serving seasonal American cuisine with a Montana twist. Start with huckleberry bison meatballs or roasted bone marrow, then choose from specialty-cut steaks, including our cold-smoked prime ribeye served on a Himalayan salt block, along with bison, rainbow trout, seared scallops and house-made pasta.
