Consistently excellent. True French cuisine, in a beautiful atmosphere. Our servers were knowledgable and the wine parings were perfect. A neighborhood gem, and well worth a drive into La Jolla if you live elsewhere.

Amazing business dinner on a Wednesday night! The restaurant was full, but we were still able to have a conversation without issues. Took the wine and starter recommendations from the host Missy. Wine was amazing. Appetizers delicious. First time trying mussels and will definitely come back for more. Shared the pork chop, mussels , farro salad, croustillant between three people. The fresh baguette and butter paired with wine is enough to come back to every day. Will definitely return to experience the rest of the wine list and menu! Thank you Missy, Ismeal, and Robert for the amazing service and guidance through the menu and wine list!

Every time we go back here we love it more, which given that we loved it the first time should tell you everything. Last night was a night for new and modified dishes all of which were spectacular.

We were a party of 3 for dinner, we arrived there about 5:10 for a 5:30 reservation. We ordered a glass of wine at the bar during happy hour. It was a generous pour for $3 and was good wine. We sat outside on this cold rainy night but the heaters kept us warm. Our food choices were well received, everyone was happy with the quality and quantity of food. This included the artichoke heart appetizer, fried green tomatoes appetizer, free range chicken entree, salmon entree and filet mignon entree. Dessert was the coconut bread pudding and the crème brûlée. All delicious although the bread pudding did not taste of coconut. Service was excellent, Alexa was attentive and efficient without rushing us. It was a very pleasant evening will return.

On the whole, our dining experience was good, but not at the same level that we have long been used to. Specifically, the soup of the day, lobster bisque, was at best questionable. It tasted more like butternut squash than lobster.

Our waiter sitting in the front tables bar area Josh was fantastic food was amazing. We loved it all and to take a guest and have a out of Town guest say Wow that was just wonderful.

My son took me here for dinner. This was our second time dinning here. We came in February for my birthday. The food and service was once again excellent. Our server Daniel was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I like when servers recommended their personal favorites. We started with the duck liver pâté and the beef tartare. Both were served with crostini toasts. I do not eat beef but my son said it was delicious. The duck liver was also served with pear and strawberry slices, strawberry jam and blue cheese crumbles. It was a nice pairing of savory and sweet. I had the Scottish salmon with lentils. The salmon was very moist with a nice flake. My son had the Dover Maine scallops. It was buttery and no grittiness. We will definitely return next month.
