Food ended up being amazing, the bread was very hard tho, the ambiance and the entire restaurant is beautiful. The server had an attitude with us, we went to celebrate my friends birthday, my friend wanted a cute drink (pretty garnishes) and we told our server that while looking at the cocktail menu to which he responded with an attitude, telling us that y’all only have well crafted drinks, of course we knew that, we wanted something that looked beautiful for pictures, we ended up picking a whatever drink, he had attitude the whole time, especially when It came to helping us order , we asked him to suggest the best appetizers and he said he doesn’t know what we like ... great way to upsell right? anyways , he seemed in a rush to go home .. the table next to us was a black couple celebrating a birthday too and dang they were treated the same I’ve gone to other fine dining restaurants that have more patience and are nicer but for instagram pictures I give it a 10/10 for their service it’s 5/10. The server was a chubby Hispanic man who was older with black hair.

Yay, a late afternoon nibbly at Cucina Urbana before attending a play at The Old Globe. I really struggled, asking lots of questions about menu items I had not tried. My extaordinary server Rylie was right there to answer everything. I couldn't believe myself, I ordered a burger. With all their incredible Italian food, I for the first time in the eight or more years dining there, I ordered the burger. It is called the Cucina Burger with grilled balsamic onions, provolone, arugula and pickle aioli with half a large pickle and a side of parmesan fries. I asked that they substitute lettuce for the brioche bun. The burger was delicious and cooked perfectly, I didn't miss the bun at all. It was a great fun evening and I got to see many old and new friends on staff. I can't wait to go back for something else new.

Staff was excellent. Steaks were perfection. Side dishes were over priced and tasteless. Also side small potions that were not a value at all.
