With high quality ingredients and laid back casual style, San Lorenzo's is now the hottest restaurant for locals and those visiting Dublin for quality Italian food with a NYC twist. And course our famous brunch, the #brunchofchampions , hailed as the best brunch in Dublin! We believe in seasonal, locally sourced Irish produce where possible. Our pork is single farm Co.Wicklow, our beef is Leinster, Hereford or Angus cross breed, our lamb is Co. Kildare Curragh grass fed, our chickens are barnyard humanly reared and our fish and seafood is sustainable and mostly from our Irish Coastal waters. We make all our own pastas, breads and all our desserts and ice creams. Virtually everything is made in house. We delight in preparing the best Ireland has to offer. #ModernItalianNYCstyle #Brunchofchampions
Had been once before and wanted to give it another shot.
It’s very noisy! And tables very close together. The staff were so lovely - customer service better than the food.
I had the full fry breakfast and didn’t like the taste of the sausage (seemed cheap) and the pudding was very hard.
Would have also been nice with a slice of sourdough (suggestion) classic Irish situation-
Ate it all and said nothing but thinking about it - if you fancy a catch up with a
Friend I wouldn’t recommend here
Food was excellent. Had Gambas followed by the duck, my wife had the scallops ( a special ) and the Hake. Arrived in late having had to ring in twice to say we would be running late. This was no problem to them and we were very pleased with the food and the night.
Great meal with fantastic service! I’d recommend the cocopops toast from the brunch menu
Lovely food got the French toast with streaky bacon and was gorgeous and my bf got the eggs benedict and it was so tasty too! Only thing I will say is the seats are so close to the next table that it’s very awkward to get in and out and can get so warm ..besides that I love the place!
Very friendly And tasty food
Absolutely delightful brunch there last Saturday. The staff are perfect, attentive but not in your face. The food was fabulous and great value for the quality. The fruit cooler drinks really hit the spot. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely be repeating the experience.
The waiter was excellent. He was very patient even though it took us a long time to decide... and was happy to give recommendations.
It's a nice place and nice food. But when we came over nobody helped me to find the table where my friend was. The waitress wasn't helpful and after an hour she asked us to leave as she needed the table. When we came over nobody mention anything about the time. I don't think I will go back but it was a nice experience.
Food was incredible- we practically licked the plates clean & as per usual the staff were impressive as always...
The service and staff were fantastic, a little disappointed that there is no childrens menu considering they are open for lunch, early bird, not having a childrens menu rules out families going and therefore this means we would not consider here for family events etc. Its a pity because the staff were fab with the children, perhaps something to think about as it is ruling out alot of potential customers.
Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly & helpful. I love a good gap between courses but it did take a very long time for our main course to come out. I would definitely return but not if I was in a hurry
We went for brunch on a Saturday and it was incredible. The crab cakes were amazing. Great atmosphere as well. It was completely packed so booking essential I would say
The food was good but the service wasn’t great. We had a prebooked table but it took ten minutes for us to be seated. Aside from taking our order and delivering/removing the table we had no interaction with the staff. We tried to get their attention for 20 minutes to ask for a water refill but eventually gave up. It took us another 20 minutes to get someone’s attention for the bill. I realise it is a very busy spot but there were lots of staff on yet the service to customers was lacking.
Our waiter was really nice, he looked after us very well with his bubbly personality. Thank you :)
I felt the food was very overpriced for the quality of it, well for my Avocado and toast . with bacon was approx 16 Euro- which Is crazy amount and that was cheapist dish on Brunch, the eggs were not hot enough, and the dish was out of proportion and lacked flavour. Staff were friendly but just the food let it down for me- TY
The “breakfast of champions” could do with the addition of a slice of toast.
Food was very salty deeming our food inedible. Friendly staff. Worst dining experience in a while. Won’t return.
Our Saturday brunch was delicious , and with a few of us having special dietary requirements , the chef alternated some of the ingredients and we were more than impressed with the meals we were served . Everything was devine , we even booked to come back again with more friends because we enjoyed everything so much. The gin cocktails were also fab!
Had a nice lunch, staff friendly, didn’t quite live up to expectation but shall return. Restaurant was quiet, so felt good should have been a lot better and hotter.
Food was delicious and service from our waiter Sean was excellent!!
Had heard a lot about the brunch at San Lorenzo’s but was underwhelmed. Ordered the huevos rancheros which was poor enough. My wife ordered the French toast which was only alright. Service was great though. The decor was a bit dark and uninspiring
Great place. The food was really tasty and the staff were all lovely. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone & somewhere I'll definitely be back to again
coco pop french toast is the only moderately good thing, people without reservations where being sat before me who had booked a table.
We were left standing for ten mins before getting our table.
My food was disgusting, crab cakes tasted like uncooked dough.
Insanely expensive for an overcrowded horrible brunch with terrible service.
Central location. Nice atmosphere. Excellent meal. Main courses substantial and delicious. Only negative was white wine not chilled. Would recommend.
Dined in San Lorezos before and was blown away by the quality of food, drinks and service.
However, this time the food was average (i.e Luke-warm and frankly bland). Cocktails were also awful (sorry for being blunt but really not impressed they were either really sour or watery).
Service was also way too fast - we were served our starters 5mins after ordering while we had only finished before our plates were taken away and the mains came about 10mins after. We understand the need to turn tables but when it's rushed you don't feel comfortable as a customer. (Our waitress was lovely though!)
Unfortunately wont be in a rush back :(
The food was amazing and the service was great. The guy serving us was funny, polite and extremely good at his job
Everything was amazing and perfect! Staff were lovely and place was buzzing in great way.
Really enjoyed our evening and the flexibility of the staff was excellent as well as the value for money. Can't wait to go back.
Brunch at Sanlorezo’s never fails, delicious food, great atmosphere and goid selection of drinks. Highly recommend it
Had a lovely mother’s day brunch, looking forward to our next visit. Thank you 😊
Will definitely be going back, customer service impeccable and food delish! Thanks so much.
I really enjoyed my meal here. When arrived we did have to wait over 20 mins for our table even though we had booked it but were compensated with glasses of Prosecco on the house.
The service was fabulous & all staff we came into contact with were amazingly friendly. I had a little suitcase with me and was putting it under the table but they put it in a store room for me so I'd be more comfortable. They asked us to move tables just after our food when we were chilling, which of course was grand & no bother, but they still gave us a free drink for it. And the food, YUM! I'd heard good things but this was my first time there. It definitely won't be my last!
I visited with a friend at lunchtime and we had made a reservation just to be sure of a seat as I know Sam Lorenzo's is quite popular. We were seated immediately and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff who checked that everything was okay with our food, drinks etc. The price point is more on the expensive side so lunch here would not be a regular thing for me but the food was quite good regardless. I got the crab cakes which came with pouched eggs in Hollandaise sauce and duck fat roast potato squares and asparagus. It was really delicious but a bit big for a lunch dish as I struggled to finish it. I had planned to get their famous coco pop french toast dish but felt like something more savoury on the day and certainly did not have room for a desert. If I return again the french toast will be first on my list to try!
Delicious food. Every course was lovely and early bird menu is good value
THE FOOD was amazing as always and the staff were very accomdating with really good service.i just found €5 was a bit steep for the caramelised banana especially as I asked for less of a big portion with the French toast
We were asked to leave the table after 75 minutes. No warning of this 75 minute booking rule for brunch when we booked/ made the reservation . Other tables were not asked to leave despite being there longer than us. We were not drinking alcohol and expect this is why we were asked to leave. We were actually going to order wine before the waiter informed us we had to vacate the table. We then went Elsewhere for a drink. Odd rule but seems to only apply to those who are not drinking cocktails!
I found for what I got it was far too expensive , calamari starter was a joke 3 small pieces on a bed of salad the calamari was tasteless , the pasta ragu dish was tasty but at 20€ not worth the price , I asked the waitress for Parmesan but she never bothered to come back ..
Food and service was excellent but found the wine to be a little pricey. Especially by the glass
