With high quality ingredients and laid back casual style, San Lorenzo's is now the hottest restaurant for locals and those visiting Dublin for quality Italian food with a NYC twist. And course our famous brunch, the #brunchofchampions , hailed as the best brunch in Dublin! We believe in seasonal, locally sourced Irish produce where possible. Our pork is single farm Co.Wicklow, our beef is Leinster, Hereford or Angus cross breed, our lamb is Co. Kildare Curragh grass fed, our chickens are barnyard humanly reared and our fish and seafood is sustainable and mostly from our Irish Coastal waters. We make all our own pastas, breads and all our desserts and ice creams. Virtually everything is made in house. We delight in preparing the best Ireland has to offer. #ModernItalianNYCstyle #Brunchofchampions
Great place. The food was really tasty and the staff were all lovely. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone & somewhere I'll definitely be back to again
coco pop french toast is the only moderately good thing, people without reservations where being sat before me who had booked a table.
We were left standing for ten mins before getting our table.
My food was disgusting, crab cakes tasted like uncooked dough.
Insanely expensive for an overcrowded horrible brunch with terrible service.
Central location. Nice atmosphere. Excellent meal. Main courses substantial and delicious. Only negative was white wine not chilled. Would recommend.
Dined in San Lorezos before and was blown away by the quality of food, drinks and service.
However, this time the food was average (i.e Luke-warm and frankly bland). Cocktails were also awful (sorry for being blunt but really not impressed they were either really sour or watery).
Service was also way too fast - we were served our starters 5mins after ordering while we had only finished before our plates were taken away and the mains came about 10mins after. We understand the need to turn tables but when it's rushed you don't feel comfortable as a customer. (Our waitress was lovely though!)
Unfortunately wont be in a rush back :(
The food was amazing and the service was great. The guy serving us was funny, polite and extremely good at his job
Everything was amazing and perfect! Staff were lovely and place was buzzing in great way.
Really enjoyed our evening and the flexibility of the staff was excellent as well as the value for money. Can't wait to go back.
Brunch at Sanlorezo’s never fails, delicious food, great atmosphere and goid selection of drinks. Highly recommend it
Had a lovely mother’s day brunch, looking forward to our next visit. Thank you 😊
Will definitely be going back, customer service impeccable and food delish! Thanks so much.
I really enjoyed my meal here. When arrived we did have to wait over 20 mins for our table even though we had booked it but were compensated with glasses of Prosecco on the house.
The service was fabulous & all staff we came into contact with were amazingly friendly. I had a little suitcase with me and was putting it under the table but they put it in a store room for me so I'd be more comfortable. They asked us to move tables just after our food when we were chilling, which of course was grand & no bother, but they still gave us a free drink for it. And the food, YUM! I'd heard good things but this was my first time there. It definitely won't be my last!
I visited with a friend at lunchtime and we had made a reservation just to be sure of a seat as I know Sam Lorenzo's is quite popular. We were seated immediately and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff who checked that everything was okay with our food, drinks etc. The price point is more on the expensive side so lunch here would not be a regular thing for me but the food was quite good regardless. I got the crab cakes which came with pouched eggs in Hollandaise sauce and duck fat roast potato squares and asparagus. It was really delicious but a bit big for a lunch dish as I struggled to finish it. I had planned to get their famous coco pop french toast dish but felt like something more savoury on the day and certainly did not have room for a desert. If I return again the french toast will be first on my list to try!
Delicious food. Every course was lovely and early bird menu is good value
THE FOOD was amazing as always and the staff were very accomdating with really good service.i just found €5 was a bit steep for the caramelised banana especially as I asked for less of a big portion with the French toast
We were asked to leave the table after 75 minutes. No warning of this 75 minute booking rule for brunch when we booked/ made the reservation . Other tables were not asked to leave despite being there longer than us. We were not drinking alcohol and expect this is why we were asked to leave. We were actually going to order wine before the waiter informed us we had to vacate the table. We then went Elsewhere for a drink. Odd rule but seems to only apply to those who are not drinking cocktails!
I found for what I got it was far too expensive , calamari starter was a joke 3 small pieces on a bed of salad the calamari was tasteless , the pasta ragu dish was tasty but at 20€ not worth the price , I asked the waitress for Parmesan but she never bothered to come back ..
Food and service was excellent but found the wine to be a little pricey. Especially by the glass
I would not choose to eat here again, neither of our meals was very good. Our food was over cooked and lacked any real flavor, extremely disappointed based on previous reviews.
Really friendly staff. I got the small antipasti, was massive, definitely for sharing! The frutti di mare pasta was amazing. If you're getting dessert, get the maltesers cheesecake, it'll change your life.
Brunch food was great but I think the popularity is ruining this place. A constant queue out the door of people waiting for tables. Even with a reservation we weren’t seated for a good 20 minutes as everyone had reservatations. This coupled with the difficulty of actually getting staff attention somewhat ruined our experience.
That being said the Maltesers cheesecake is amazing.
Cool environment and good service but the food was lacking.
We had a crab starter (a special on the night) which had a measly amount of crab, but moreso, which did not work as a combination with the other ingredients.
One main course was skatewing, again a special but unfortunately was nothing special and poorly presented.
The other dish was pork belly, which was overdone and the meat was dry.
Amazing food and very prompt service. Have recommended to everyone I know who’s going to Dublin
Amazing experience, we had a really special anniversary brunch. Staff are so attentive and lovely😁
We booked a table for 5 a few weeks in advance, I received a phone call on the morning of the dinner to confirm our booking of 5. When we arrived at the restaurant we were squeezed into a table for 4. One of our party had to sit sideways at the table, the staff would not give us a bigger table. This was very disappointing.
Arrived early but table ready. Had asked for quiet table as I’m partially deaf but this was not so. Table for 5 booked next to us but women made to squeeze into a table for 4. Staff friendly and attentive. Choice of food admirable and top notch .
Really tasty food in a great decor venue
Such a tasty midweek treat. The booth made chatting in a group so much easier too.
Great food, service and atmosphere! A real keeper!
Great food, drinks and atmosphere but the staff are the stand out for me. Very professional, friendly and accommodating.
Food was amazing especially the coco pops French toast! Service not great and quite slow. Will be back for brunch though and also to try dinner.
Very nice food. Staff very friendly and helpful. San Lorenzo was recommended to me, I would recommend it further.
We eat here before the rugby 🏉 match last Saturday and it was very nice, had a lively atmosphere, we have eaten here before and will be back again, I had crab 🦀 cakes washed down with a nice Malbec and the other members of the group had steak 🥩
We will be back for sure 👍
Service was very good. Some dishes weren't as good as others. Very noisy and such a tight space it's hard to have conversations with the whole table
Food is always good when I'm here!! Always worth the bus in!
It was fine. Probably not worth the money, but also I think I ordered the wrong dish. Service wasn't great. It's a nice place though, music was good.
Lovely food lovely atmosphere would go again. The food was lovely and the service was very quick.I would definitely go again and would recommend it to friends for a lovely weekend treat
I really enjoyed our Brunch here. Food was excellent, coffee was really good and the service was top notch. No pressure or nagging, just attentive and friendly.
The Brunch menu was really varied and all looked good.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner in San Lorenzo's , really attentive service and a fantastic meal.
Lovely evening and it made for a memorable birthday.
