Great food brunch was amazing would recommend to anyone in dublin
The food was great, but the service was not good. The waitress was stressed because friends arrived 15 min late, and told us we can maximum have the table for 1 hour 15 min total. That's a very short time for brunch, but fair enough - however you can say that in a better way and make it clear when making the reservation. She was rude when telling friends that she would not accept any more orders. We were paying customers, and I believe you can solve most things by simply being nice. I would recommend it for the food, but not for the service, not for the 1 hour 15 min you have to stress through brunch with friends.
Food was delicious and service excellent, and accompanied by good humoured and pleasant staff. All in all our group of 8 had a great night. Well done, will definitely come back.
We were very impressed with the staff, specially the manager Gavin. The food was delicious and we will most definitely come back.
Saturday night get together with friends. Lovely food, excellent service. We were seated straight away and given menus. Drinks came quickly. Food was delicious and the service was friendly
Food was amazing but the music is far too loud for Sunday brunch
Great restaurant and very understanding of our group being late.
Great venue with very friendly staff and amazing food. I’d definetely recomend!
We were very pleased with San Lorenzo. We were on holiday in Dublin after a week of traveling the west coast. It was nice to sit down to an Italian dinner. The food is very good. The menu says it’s New York style, although I don’t know what that means. The food, more descriptively, is very flavorful and well portioned. The pasta was homemade. The wine was reasonably priced as well. Service was a little slow/inattentive but nice and charming. Definitely not a fancy place, but a good solid meal.
Food was great, had the arriabiata dish and I think it was the nicest pasta I've ever had! My friend had the chicken parmigiana, also delicious. Wine was on the pricey side but overall the food was so good I would totally recommend!
We really loved our experience, the food and service were brill.
While I am fan of the restaurant, the service on our last visit was disappointing. The food was it's usual excellent and very tasty standard but our visit suffered from some poor service. This is not like San Lorenzo's but was disappointing. From a lack of explanation to why certain dishes could not be exchanged on the Early Bird menu (despite a lower RRP on the main menu) to not chilled white wine, leaving my partner with no wine and pouring red wine into a white wine glass, the overall level of service wasn't it's usual self. It seemed to be the case of the opposite of "if you want something done give it to a busy person" as the restaurant was practically empty when we got there.
Great atmosphere and good location. This was my second visit , last one was with family of young adults who all want to go back, this one with older(!) adult friend who was equally impressed.
I’ll be going back again!
The food was incredible and great value for money alongside very friendly staff, could eat here again and again
Excellent food and service . No pressure to give up the table . Highly recommend this restaurant.
Superb restaurant, excellent service, quality food.. I had the early bird and food was top quality..👍
A must visit👍
Coco pop French toast 🤤
Amazing brunch spot right in the centre of Dublin.
Best place in Dublin for brunch! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent menu and delicious food.
This was out first time in San Lorenzos and we were not disappointed. The staff were incredibly accommodating as we had our insane 2 year old with us. We were there for brunch: the menu looked great and the food exceeded expectations. Crab cakes, poached eggs with hollondaise, french toast with coco pops, caramel banana, peanut butter, mascarpone cream?? Unbelievable. First brunch in a long time where everything - flavours and quantities - excelled. Stuffed till dinner. Will definitely be back.
Great service. Lovely food. I'm vegetarian so I'd like more veggie options. Very happy with the experience.
The food was lovely, just so unfortunate the service was terrible they kept getting our orders wrong! The girl that served us was so rude she made it out that the mistake was my fault! I also think including a service charge with this rate of service is disgraceful.
Great meal but more Gluten Free options would be good!
Food was outstanding, menu choice was super! A real New York vibe in Dublin. Can’t wait to go again
Great welcome. Fabulous service. Friendly staff throughout. Delicious food
Better be hungry when you go here. Great to see decent sized brunch portions. Crab cakes were a winner! Went for brunch at 2pm on a Sunday - was just starting to get a bit quieter so ideal time!
The food was delicious . The staff were great, Especially the manager. I will definitely be back again.
Went for brunch with a friend, we were left waiting a few minutes for our table (which we didn’t mind) but the staff were so nice and apologetic and after we were seated they gave us two glasses of prosecco as an apology which was lovely. The waitresses were so friendly and chatty which lent to the overall friendly and relaxed environment. The food was amazing (I’d recommend the coco pops French toast), great portions and the coffee was really good. Definitely going back for brunch again and will be recommending to friends
Fantastic food will definitely be dining here again.
Great food & service in a lovely restaurant! Really enjoyed it.
Perfect Brunch! Always love eating in San Lorenzos as you know you’re going to receive tasty satiating food, and walk away happy!
Lovely evening with a pal, service discreet but efficient... chicken parmigiana to die for...
First time visiting & the food was lovely & service great - they got our starter order wrong and offered us a dessert to make up for it which was a really nice gesture
Fantastic spot. We had a brilliant Monday brunch at it was a bank holiday. The staff were attentive and so friendly. Even though the place was packed, there was no long wait or massive delay in waiting for our food.
Would highly recommend this restaurant . Steak was amazing and so were the potatoes done in duck fat - the best ever ! Had requested a good table when booking & also had mentioned it was my daughters birthday - they remembered both - great service
Wonderful food and friendly efficient service. Best brunch in Dublin!
My friends and I decided to come here for our last dinner in Ireland before heading back to the US because we heard such great things about it. Our reservation was ~15 minutes delayed which was no problem, but the manager gave us a round of drinks on the house to apologize which was unexpected and so nice. Our food was so fantastic and the restaurant itself has a friendly and fun atmosphere. A little loud but in a good way, everyone was clearly having a great time. My main course arrived different than how it was described on the menu but because I have a food allergy I had to send it back, within 10 minutes the chef had prepared it as described, and it was taken off of our check. Overall it was a delicious meal and a great end to our experience in Ireland. Definitely would recommend!
Amazing food with a generous portion size... oh and the mimosas are unreal! Super staff who are so nice and efficient - couldn’t recommend more!!
Food was fine but nothing special. I asked for scrambled egg instead of fried and was told the kitchen was “too busy to scramble eggs”. Have been for dinner and really enjoyed it but brunch was disappointing overall.
Was recommended to us by a friend from Dublin. Fantastic food reasonably priced in a nice setting.
