Great dinner at Siena! Bolognese and Osso Buco both outstanding!
An extremely pleasant dining experience in a lovely setting. Very cordial and accommodating staff. The fixed price dinner is an amazingly fabulous deal. Try the pork chop!
Fabulous in every way. The food was outstanding and the service professional. My friends and I plan to return for our annual Christmas dinner gathering. We had utilized another restaurant for this in past years but this year we will be transitioning to Siena because the food was so delicious. I highly recommend this establishment for a special occasion or for a simple dinner out.
This was 2nd time going to Siena. Both times service was not the best. Too long to order and get water. Tables are close together and they overbook so people standing around causing no room to move gue for staff. Food was ok.
Great food and restaurant. Family owned and it's a great time.
Absolutely fantastic! The food was some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. My dining companions felt the same way and the only thing we regretted was that it took us so long to try this place. Everything was phenomenal. We plan to come back once a month and can’t wait to return!
Great meal and enjoyed the outside table!
Very good food; fresh pastas; slow inattentive service
Lovely restaurant with delicious food and terrific service.
Staff was friendly and helpful, food was great. Server accommodated is on splitting orders. Portions were Just right, Overall great night, definitely going back, highly recommend.
Outstanding food, but this time the service was terrible... it was like they forgot about us... I will go again to see if the bad service was just a fluke... delicious food!
A mixed bag! The restaurant was freezing and very loud—we opted to sit outside. Our server was attentive but got my order wrong, and while I enjoyed my dish enough, my partner’s order just wasn’t very good. We asked for salt because it was desperately needed, and the waiter looked offended. Overall, the atmosphere was a bit snooty and I can’t say it was earned!
Seated right away for our Friday 7:30 reservation for three. Good, attentive service. Excellent food. Good espresso. Did not feel rushed at all. Pretty noisy, but a very nice evening.
Been there before. Food is very good. Bit loud in the dining room
Great food and atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Food and service was great. The service is quick and the ambiance is energetic. We were a party of 8 that was easily accommodated and all our food came out on time, hot and as ordered. The wine list has some hidden gems as well. This is really one of the best restaurants in the area.
The staff is very attentive. They bend over backwards to accommodate you. The food is excellent. Legit quality preparation. Pasquale, Pietro, and bartender Pepe are the magic trio. Best Italian Restuarant in Stamford, maybe all of Fairfield county. See for yourself.
If you are heading to a show in the area, this restaurant is convenient and fast. Otherwise food is only ok. All 4 dishes that we had were very greasy. Probably wouldn't go back. However the service was excellent and the waiters couldn't have been more polite.
Great food and service....can't wait to go back. Went with 3 business colleagues. Outside dining tables were quiet and enjoyable.
Siena lived up to its reputation the other evening. Everthing was excellent and my clients were impressed. The noise level was a bit high, but we didn't find ourselves shouting over the din. It was manageable. Service was attentive, but not hovering; and the staff responded to my hand signals perfectly. Overall a very strong performance, which in the business context made me look good. I was very pleased, and so was everyone else in my party.
I tried this restaurant when it opened and it was too noisy. It was really nice this time. There were a number of tables filled but the noise level was just fine. Great food and the bottle of wine that the waiter suggested was awesome!! I would go back and will tell my friends.
The atmosphere was charming.
The service was wonderful.
The food special during the week was a great value.
My wife and I have been here several times
Brought some friends here on Saturday night
The food and service are super
Only one negative comment
The noise level is very high. If you are looking for a quiet dinner on a busy night this is not the place . The restaurant was full and very noisy
The resturant felt like a a friends home, but with folks one had not met yet! . I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Porkchop, boine in was outstanding and others tried pasta and fish with the same result! Service was friendly but slow and the moderate priced wines were scarce on the list while they had outstanding high price selections
The complimentary bread and beans served for openers was bland, not worth the calories. Excellent grilled calamari. Linguine and clams just OK, clam sauce not much flavor. Penne with sausage and peas was good, but not outstanding. Server was knowledgeable and efficient, when you could find him. It's a relatively small room, maybe 20 x 40, so the noise level was high, which made conversation very difficult. I would probably not dine there again.
The most consistently delicious Italian Restaurant! Always excellent with great service.
Another trip to Siena and another great meal, with great service and wine. While most in my party ordered regular menu items (which were all good), I opted for one of the evening's specials, Wild Roasted Cod. The spicy, tomato-based sauce was great. We enjoyed a relaxed, well paced dinner.
We are repeat customers. Consistently good Italian food with friendly service.
Highly recommend for a casual night out with family or friends.
This spot is by far the best Italian restaurant in Fairfield county. Don't miss out!
Best Italian in stamford. Definitly will go back.
Service was outstanding. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Food was fantastic. Off-street parking was very convenient with an attendant. Looking forward to going back soon.
The food was good, my husband really liked his dish, however, I felt that mine was a little heavy.
Siena is our favorites restaurant in Stamford. The food is always good and the service great. The wait staff is professional, yet provides personal service
Four guests and one ordered an appetizer as a main course and that appetizer did not come to the table with the other 3 main courses. The polite guests meals got quite cold as they did not start before the appetizer came. However, all guests were delighted with their meals and will go back. Restaurant was totally full by 7pm.
We loved everything about Siena. As first timers we found the servers to be friendly and informative and the food was exceptional. We had show tickets so we could not stay for dessert but we liked the place so much we went back after the show and had dessert and a glass of wine. Our server was thrilled to see us come in the door even though it was almost closing time! We'll most certainly be back.
Siena always hits the target on dependable, creative Italian cuisine. From the appetizers and salads to main courses and pastas, and of course dessert, the restaurant provides a good selection for the diner to ponder. There's also a well-priced wine list to complement the meal. Service is friendly.
I Love Siena. Great fresh food. Bread and beans! I love the smelt, buratta, eggplant parm is to die for. I had sword fish and it was cooked to perfection. So tasty and fresh. Great pastas! Pork chop or veal chop, you can't go wrong. Try the bread pudding. The are open for lunch. I go at least once per week. One of the best restaurants around.
We chose Siena because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The lettuce and tomatoes in the salads tasted just pick. The pasta dishes were outstanding. The tomato sauce was fresh and light. I highly recommend Siena.
We felt we were back in Italy, and loved every bite.
