    We loved having lunch at a table by the window and looking out at the ships on the water and watching planes flying in. Food was excellent- the salmon BLTA and the open faced crab-artichoke sandwich’s were awesome! We took a walk after lunch in the coastal trail down from the restaurant- a great way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon!

    Did not live up to its hype. Salmon with the trio (x2) was dry and flavorless. 45 mins from ordering to first food delivered. The wine we chose from the wine list was unavailable. Our table was tucked in the back near the noisy kitchen with limited view of the water A sad final night to our visit to Anchorage.

    The last several visits prior to this one were definitely hit or miss. But this time everything from the hostess, waiter, cleanliness of the restaurant, the manager , and the food were all outstanding. We will definitely be eating here again in the future

    They’re clearly leaning on their reputation as an Anchorage institution - the food was boring and the service was terrible. Yes, the view is lovely… but the prices are exorbitant for average-quality food. Save yourself the money and eat a much better meal at The Rustic Otter.
