Excellent, as always! Food delicious, and staff wonderful!

A group of 9 had the Christmas menu, it was fantastic. The staff were friendly and efficient, there was even a disco after the meal. I would definitely recommend the restaurant the food was amazing and we will definitely be back.

The Festive Tasting menu was absolutely gorgeous ... there was nothing we didn't like., from the utterly delicious three 'snacks' to start through to the stunning final dessert course (Nick's homage to Blenau Slate). The wine flight was unusual and each one went well with the courses they were paired with. The front of house team (of 4) were amazing - displaying a great blend of being friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the manager is a delight! The setting is intimate (approx. 25 covers) and the ambiance just right (although I'd have liked to tweak the lighting slightly so that it was more 'romantic'.

We enjoyed meeting in such a cool restaurant and the service was attentive, enthusiastic and polite. The majority of us chose the special which was, personally speaking, very average with little fish and sloppy potatoes in a fish pie. Not to be quickly repeated. However the fish & chips apparently were good.
