It was our first time back since my husband passed away. Our daughters were very emotional returning to his favourite restaurant but the wonderful staff made our night so enjoyable and memorable. Would highly recommend The Wicklow Heather.

It was worth the wait - we were first in the door and were met with a wonderful welcome, fabulous ambience and really great food. The People - warm, passionate, personal and knowledgeable. The Place - terrific attention to detail in creating a cosy and exquisite ambience - from the quality of furnishings to the table ware to the art work... The Plate - a wonderful combination of tastes that worked so well together... ...we are local and are delighted to know that we will be dropping in again and again... huge congratulations to all involved in this team, this community of people who get joy in what they contribute...Onwards! Wonderful experience we thoroughly enjoyed. From the warm welcome at the door to the great cocktails and dinner service - every staff member we encountered was utterly delightful. We really enjoyed the food and the lovely atmosphere in this beautiful space. We look forward to coming back. We didn't have steak on this occasion but the burger, chicken, sides, starters and deserts we had were all delicious and portions generous. Option to bring our own wine for a small corkage fee was a bonus too. Thanks to all at Hawksmoor
