My friend and I have been going to the Grouse & Ale for a lovely catch-up dinner every 6 months for the last few years…and we have never been disappointed! Food is consistently excellent, staff always so friendly and helpful, and the service has always been great. We always look forward to our meal there and would highly recommend it.

A lovely restaurant staffed by really friendly, welcoming and efficient people, many of whom are excellent volunteers, who are wholly professional about their roles. Huge respect for Sue, the maitre d' who always shows real care for her diners and is always brilliantly efficient, friendly and unflappable. Eating at The Grange is always an enjoyable experience. Always...highly recommended.

Great place and service good food great nice amount to look at

Interesting and varied menu served really nicely on quiet Thursday evening. Also some interesting wine options.

It was a quiet Monday lunch, so not many customers & hence a bit quiet. Lovely food, well presented and very good value. Service was excellent and inobtrusive. We'll def go back again soon.
