Food always great. Service is the key to success keep an eye on it guys.
Great food, but inadequate ventilation over the cooking surfaces made the entire place smell like burnt oil. When I left, my clothes smelled really bad.
This is our go to lunch spot. Unfortunately, this day, lunch took way too long. 1st time this has ever happened! The staff seemed kinda disorganized but we all have off days. This will not stop me from going back as I love this place!
The food was great and even though it was a busy night, we never felt rushed.
Ordered Cobb salad with poppyseed dressing on the side--highly recommend! Lunching with friend from years ago. Stone's Cove allowed us stay and stay. Occasionally checked to see if we still needed anything more. Very accommodating to 2 old friends that just wanted to sit and visit.
Great food, great beer (cold cold!) And server was very efficient and friendly. Excellent experience!
The staff was awesome and the specials from 2-6 daily were the best - had blue cheese burger sliders and there were more menu options of interest than I normally encounter. The shrimp and grits were good and the selections were NOT an abundance of typical fried bar food choices (pleasantly surprised)
Love this place
As always, dinner at Stone’s Cove was awesome! We had the mushroom flatbread and the salmon entree. Both were so good. Plus it was $2 off Dirty Deeds, so definitely an added bonus.
Always great service and awesome food!
The food is always outstanding and just as good this visit. The service this trip was also outstanding for once. We have been going here for years and always enjoyable if the service is good. The service is sometimes inconsistent or just bad. Glad to have had a great night out at Stone’s Cove. Please keep hiring good people and training them well and you customers will keep coming back and tipping well!
I've been coming to Stone's Cove almost since it opened. I loved the concept, loved the food - and the employees really seemed to be having a good time there.
I just dined there Saturday, with a group of four other friends. No one was impressed. In all honesty, I haven't been hee in ove a year - but I really didn't know it had gone downhill as much as it has. I was a little embarrassed to have brought my friends here. I'd already told them how great it was, and after the drinks were served (one friend ordered a Woodford's and water, and it was just a really poorly made drink. Basically a shot in a big glass filled with ice and water. I was drinking wine, which was just OK, but they don't have the decent wines they used to have.), the staff kind of just managed to wander away and avoid our whole end of the bar for a long time. Between the five us we had - 2 peperoni flatbreads, an Ahi Tuna, Crab bisque and fish tacos. Everyone said their dish was ok, but not great. Except for the guy with the Ahi Tuna. He inhaled it, so I don't know if he even tasted it.
Just wanted to let you guys know, I think the place has gone downhill from what it was a few years ago.
We had a new server so we had to explain some things to him a few times (e.g., drink requests) but he was very nice. The food was very good!
This place has side of different to it but with a twist. A huge surrounding bar area with several chefs inside that are there to take/prep your meals and beverages. I will say it looks overwhelmingly busy for them so it is hard to know which chef is serving you. No matter who I gave eye contact to to try and capture someone's attention, it seems like every cook was on a mission. But then again, that's just me be a first timer.
I love Stone's Cove Kit Bar and have only one complaint - they need more low tops. I appreciate that the raised bar overlooking the kitchen is sort of the point, but I wish there were more low tops for those who are just not comfortable or even challenged by high tops. Recently they changed the reservation site so you are able to request a low top, which I sincerely appreciated. However, I requested one with this last reservation and was seated at the bar regardless.
Never having been to a Kitbar, I was surprised at the quality of the food and the presentation. Service was very good as well. I would come back. The menu wasn’t huge but I felt that meant what was prepared was done well and it was fresh.
Our server was relatively new - Brandon. He was very nice, helpful, and patient with our toddler. The food was great and we will definitely go back.
The drinks and food were amazing and the staff is very friendly . Would definitely go back .
Great place for a quick lunch!
Good variety of menu items. The food is generally good but not exceptional. Service is spotty. The server handed us menus and then disappeared. Had to flag down another server to take our order. And it really wasn't crowded.
Food allergy handling is spotty also. Three tries and they finally got it right. Still a long wait to get edible food.
Very loud due to conversations and bad acoustics. I put in ear plugs. Spouse did also.
It was better on prior visits. May try again in a few weeks or months.
While a long time fan of Stone's Cove, service this time around fell short.
The restaurant was a bit understaffed but we still had an amazing time.
Food was good, but our order was forgotten about. In addition to entrees, each of us ordered soup for an appetizer. We could see the soup cauldrons from our seat at the bar, but waited patiently as nothing was forthcoming. The guys seated next to us arrived after we ordered, but still received their wings before we had anything.
Wonderful experience again! We love coming here. Good food and friendly staff!
Fantastic as always
The two gentleman that served us were the best part of the evening. They were attentive, knowledgeable of the offerings, and engaging. They shared their opinions honestly and made our dinner unique.
We love this place! Service is excellent and the food is delicious. Great value as well. If you could, please expand your beer selection.
We have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Food and drinks have been great and a real neighborhood restaurant.
Food was good, but nothing to write home to mama about. Servers could have worn a smile, but as a traveler from the west coast, maybe that is normal here. If you plan to visit make sure you bring a sweater, as they keep the inside cool. Unfortunately so cool, that you need to eat your food extremely fast, so it doesn’t get cold.
The ahi tuna app was just ok - otherwise would have given 5 stars.
Such a cute place and concept -- and the best cuban sandwich EVER. Was particularly happy to see it so crowded on a Tuesday -- I'm always spooked when places aren't crawling with customers -- love this place, coming back!
Unusually slow food delivery. Almost 40 min
But you were busy. Like slammed actually.
Ordered MW. Came out MR.
The salad sub didn’t show.
Just an off day.
We’ll still be back.
Great value and quality for the $$
Service was great and so was the food!
Food was delicious. Service good but spotty at time. Still a great place to drop in and get great food and beverages. Been going since they opened. Glad they are back on their game!
What a great restaurant! I found it be searching on OpenTable for something to do that night. When we got out of the car my wife and I said..."something smells good". We were seated along the Kitchen Bar. The Waiter is a jack of all trades...waiter, bartender, and chef. I was surprised to see our local distillery, Murlarkey, was served there!! We had drinks, apps, dinner and dessert - all were outstanding. Try the Chunky Crab Lettuce Wraps for an app...OUTSTANDING!! My wife had the Shrimp and Grits...best she has ever had!! I had the burger and it had great flavor!! Will definitely go back...bonus was the fact that the place was hopping but they let you relax and enjoy the time/experience.
Excellent food & service! The best pear martinis ever! Yummy!
Great food, overall good experience but service was slow esp in beginning. Not sure it was shift change or what but in between service was abrupt, picked up with change of servers though. Food portion was great, delicious as well. I’d go there again!
This is a fantastic restaurant! The crab bisque is fabulous & comes with ingredients to create your own flavor & plenty of lump crab. We had salad, steak, burger, pasta - everyone loved the food.
The atmosphere is fun & relaxed. Bar drinks are creative and really good. We even tried chocolate cake which was ginormous. We will be back for sure!
Amazing as always! This time we brought our kids for an early dinner and they were very accommodating! I highly recommend this restaurant!
