    Great food, very good service, but have to comment on the noise level. It is a high class place so not sure why they need to have the music so loud. That just makes people have to talk even louder to have a conversation. Definitely still recommend, but would be much better if they simply turned the dance music down.

    All perfect, the food was really good, and the place was really pretty, i would just recommend fix or cleaning the TEATRO sign outside the restaurant, otherwise a really good experience

    Sat on the patio and unfortunately we were forgotten about. Paid 500 dollars for a 2 hour dinner where we had to remind our server a few times about drinks and other items. I love this place. This was just a one off unfortunate event.

    Exceptional! Made to feel very welcome and pampered. Chef Matt and his team never cease to amaze. Easily the best restaurant in the city and a place you want to go to to be seen. Thank you for making us feel special.

    Service was amateur at best, food was below average for the prices from pasta to steak. Tiramisu was the absolute worst ever. Have had way better food and service for 1/4 the price.

    Simply perfect. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The service was excellent. The food perfect. The wine pairing really good. What a wonderful dinner we had.

    We went for a date night and had a great experience. Staff was super friendly and food was pretty good. As a vegan- they had options too! Would definitely recommend for a fancy dinner date.

    Caesar salad was mediocre. Lamb rack was good but small portion. Beans were raw. Tiramisu was only fair. Hazelnut cheese cake was an ice cream cake. We brought a 13 yr old Napa Cab. Sommelier didn't even comment on it. 57th anniversary. They didn't make a big deal of it. Took a cab. Parking is across the street in the Convention Centre Garage. Didn't want to go there at night.

    Had the steak for 2, and the papardelle bolognese. Both delicious, excellent recommendation from out server. Service was friendly and attentive, they even took our coats. The food is expensive, but this is a place you can be certain that it will be worth every penny. Excellent for special occasions.

    Every visit to Teatro is excellent. This time we were on the patio, and it started out quite noisy, with The City using power equipment adjacent to the patio. Fortunately it stopped for the 12:00-1:00 hour and the experience was outstanding again.

    Service was poor at the beginning but got better as the night went on. We weren’t sitting for two minutes before our server asked if we were ready order. We asked about the daily peche and carne features as I wanted just one bottle of wine for the evening and wanted to get our food sorted before I chose the wine, she said she’d check. When she came back she asked if we were ready to order and we asked about the features. She described the peche. Seared salmon on fingerlings with mushrooms and peas. And then she was about to leave. I asked about the carne feature. She said NZ Lamb but gave no description. We started with the foie terrine. Amazing. Then had the endive and fennel salad. Very good. I had the striploin and she had the salmon feature. Food was great as always. But I wish I had known the salmon was the most expensive thing on the menu at 65$. Wasn’t on a budget, but a 65$ piece of salmon had better blow one away. It was good, but salmon is not worth 65$. I ordered a bottle of Pinot noir which was great and complimented each course. The sommelier was on point all night and really got us through the first 30m of dinner. Overall a wonderful meal. Fine dining is about the entire experience. From the table cloths to the cutlery, glassware. The lighting, the service and food. The service could have started off better, but we had a great experience.

    The food and service were amazing. It was only my second time there, first for my wife, and we'll be back. I realize that we're paying for real estate and food inflation is awful, but it was more pricey than we expected, otherwise great value. My only suggestion would be to decant the wine and it was much warmer than we'd usually find red wine from a cellar in a top restaurant.

    Server was not at all attentive, and gave us a feeling that she did not want to serve us. It took more than half an hour at a time that she checked up on our table. Our last dish did not arrive when we were just about done our pasta and we had to have it cancelled - she did say she was pacing as a coursed meal, but with two mains and two diners we didn’t quite understand why she chose to do this despite telling us the second main would be following shortly after she put down our first main dish. She really took her time with drinks and her orders.

    Joshua was excellent! Great service and very personable. Brian took us on a tour of the wine cellar which was very neat to see. It was my boyfriend and I anniversary. They had a card on the table signed by all the staff which was very sweet. The architecture is stunning. Overall a perfect choice for our anniversary dinner!

    We ordered the calamari as a starter. Very nice, crispy not greasy. Had the fish special, halibut which was excellent and the lasagna Teatro which was also very good, just very rich. Our server did not meet our expectations. He came across as pretentious and slightly rude. When asked about what he recommended on the menu he dodged the question and seemed annoyed by our meal and wine orders. After our plates were cleared a woman came and asked us about dessert, we asked about the tasting menu dessert and she happily let us order it. It was good but an aspect of it just didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the plate. When she asked us what we thought, we told her and she seemed appreciative of the feedback. With so many voices in Calgary, I doubt we would book this restaurant again.

    We were fortunate enough to be seated on the lovely terrace on a beautiful evening.There was quite a delay in getting our cocktails to us, but they were complimentary as a result. The food was excellent - all 6 people in our party enjoyed the meal thoroughly. Staff were personable and helpful. A delicious meal in a beautiful venue!
