love the sangria. the food is consistently yummy with lots of choices of different kinds of meat. Service varies depending on time of day. Most of the female waitresses are very pleasant and accommodating. Last few experiences with the male waitress were subpar. last male waiter seemed annoyed that we didn't want to buy the discount wine. it wasn't that he was totally unprofessional is negative energy just permeated the whole evening. We're actually trying to buy drinks that was more expensive. Maybe it was just the end of the shift for him. Maybe he's under pressure from management the temp out some wine they got a bulk rate. It won't stop us from coming we'll just try to find a nicer waitress.

Our server was impeccable. But one of the guys carving and serving the food on our plates was winking and flirting with my underage daughter making her totally uncomfortable.
Unfortunately she didn’t mention this until we were back home so I didn’t have the chance to properly complain.
Such a shame that the horrible behavior of one single guy takes away the good opinion I used to have from this restaurant

My family used to go Texas de Brazil - Fairfax for many years. But I do not think I will come back again. It was 5 of us celebrating birthday. We had a VIP card - 50% off the dinner. Issues:
When the waiter comes to you with the ipad at teh end you don't see the check. Only after you paid, he'll bring it to you.
Here are my issues and reason why I won't come back again:
1. Pao de queijo used to be my favorite , looks like they've changed the recipe again. It is tasteless now.
2. Meat was good :)
3. I said we just want water because we ordered sodas and beer, he charged us for still "spring water", that came in blue bottle already opened!!! ( so most probably refiled from tap water $13)
4. I know there is suggested tip 20% of the full price. But price of the dinner with everything on the check was $172.14....my card was charge $230!!! $60 tips...that is way too much. Ending up being 34% tip, sorry I do not think the service is worthy that much.
The best option you get is TAKE OUT.

Great way to celebrate a birthday. Our server and others were incredibly friendly, courteous and responsive. COVID protective measures in place and observed. Did not seem to be as many choices as pre-COVID, but there was plenty and everything was delicious. Look forward to going back in the future.

First time ever coming here and was for 40th birthday. I learned that I will never come back again. Waiter could not be understood AT ALL, loud so loud and you would think all Virginia's covid capacity rules were ignored, basically they were ignored. Was there for hours and received cold, serves 2 sides, when it was 4 of us, did not even see but 4 different meats. Never brought new stuff and saw flank steak and sirloin enough to scream. Never saw any ribs at all and our room we were in hardly ever had anyone there with meat. The tiny silver labels for salad bar were pointless.....so tiny cannot hardly read and bc they were metal were spun around backwards at almost every station. Horrible first time and birthday experience. It is NOT worth the money it costs AT ALL. That is kind of a joke on your price. Like how you all try to fill customers with salad bar, brazilian cheese rolls, french fries, garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas so they are to full to eat their all you can eat meat. Keep that in Brazil....we are good without pirates bringing meat on swords.

The meats are superb and you can get them at any degree of wellness. The salad bar has an excellent array of fresh, tasty items. Our waiter was especially nice and helpful. Sangria recipe needs to be taught to the bartenders. We had to send the sangria back because it tasted and looked like fruit punch. Had to switch to red wine instead. Overall a very nice, enjoyable experience!

The meat was pretty dry and really really chewy. The cheese bread they brought to the table was cold and dried out as well. The salad bar was decent but not a lot of options to choose from like their rivals. The service was good though!

Maybe I just haven't been out in a long time, but I expected it to be a little fancier than it was. People had on jean shorts and tennis shoes. It felt more like an Outback Steakhouse. The meat is obviously what you go for because the rest of the food was meh. I wouldn't go back.

It is a little pricey, but it is worth it for celebrating birthdays and milestones! We enjoy the variety of the meats served, and the covid procedures were pretty good, so we felt the staff did a good job managing keeping people separate at the salad serving area.

We had not been in at least 5 years. The food was as good as it was back then. We don’t eat pork so we were not able to sample all the meats; however, the entire salad bar and the side dishes were excellent. The wait staff had heavy accents which added to the authenticity of our dining experience for me. Not so much for my husband who kept looking to me for interpretation. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions. It’s a lot of food and rather pricey for day to day dining out.

Everything was very smooth and pleasant since our arrival at the restaurant.
Staff extremely kind and paying attention to the details in order to provide the best service possible.
The military discount at the end was a big plus and a major incentive for returning soon!! :D

Was pleasantly surprised that we were able to make our own plates again (instead of having to order off of a card for Covid reasons).
Menu is still limited, understandably, but price should reflect that. Looks like prices increased, food offerings decreased.

Service was good. The options on the salad bar were nice and fresh. The drinks that we ordered were really good as well and then we get to the meat. It was was too salty and the lamb was very chewy. We don’t think that it’s worth the $100 or more. We will not returning.

The meats were all so delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was busy, but we never had to wait for service. As soon as we flipped our cards to green, the servers were there. The salad bar was good and fresh and we were able to serve ourselves, using the gloves they provided. We can't wait to go again!

My overall experience was okay I’ve had better service before. It was my first time to this location. It was a busy Saturday night plenty of staff on the floor and the servers didn’t pay much attention to our needs. The meat seem like it wasn’t coming around fast enough and it wasn’t much variety like it usually is, we had to ask for lamb chops 3 different times when we were first approached asking what meats would we like. The salad bar was good but not as many choices as it was before COVID. Also the restaurant was packed I mean every table full, it seems like it was at full capacity, however I am not sure what capacity Virginia is at. I would come back but just on a day that’s not super busy so I can get better service and not so many people.

Didn’t live up to its traditional standards. Yes, blame COVID. Salad bar was 1/4 of what it usually was. Slow service. Good COVID precautions. The worst thing, no traditional anniversary piece of cake. Too bad they took nicety away. Not worth the drive to get there and back anymore.

Texad de Brazil has done their utmost to make customers feel safe and secure while dining. The food is very good and plentiful. There is a bit of hustle and bustle as servers approach tables offering food, and the noise level is pretty high. Go hungry as they'll offer you one tasty morsel after another.
