   The perfect place for a pre-theatre meal. The staff are aware that you have a time limit, but ensure you do not feel rushed. Service is fast and attentive and the food is excellent.

   Lovely meal, and great atmosphere. Haven’t been here since Thursday nights ‘ back in the day’ and was amazed to see the same man on the piano ! A gem of a little place that hasn’t lost its charm over the years.

   Very disappointed with this venue. Booked as a mothers day meal. Food was appalling. No greens with the roast chicken, dried up Yorkshire pudding and the side of cauliflower cheese was a mushy sauce with rock hard cauliflower. The beef bourguignon was about as authentic french as a potato scone is! It was so sad to see so many mums with disappointed faces, obviously thinking they could have made better at home. On their on day of the year they are meant to have a break and be celebrated. Will definitely not be back.

   Me & my Mrs stopped in after lunch on Sunday for a couple of drinks. Amazing service, the people couldn’t have been nicer. Piano player was unreal, good mix of covers of different genres of music. Little bit pricey for a pint but spirits and cocktails are reasonable for city centre(ish) Would defo recommend a visit for a couple of drinks (we didnt try thr food but it smelled amazing!)

   We had a lovely Sunday lunch in the Baby Grand . The service was excellent and the staff were all lovely and very welcoming 😊 There was an excellent pianist on that day as it was Mothers Day which we enjoyed very much 🎹 It may be a little out the way for some but I would highly recommend it 😊 Thank you to all the staff in the Baby Grand we hope to see u soon x

   First time in this restaurant for food and wasn’t disappointed, the food was of a high standard and the service was excellent . Piano player playing away as a few drinks were had, would definitely give it a go.

    Terrific evening and worth making the effort to find this tucked away gem in the city centre. Everything enhanced by the piano player and a lovely ambiance. Food was all delicious and we were both very happy with our meals. Only minor things are the menu could offer a few more appetisers or broaden the range and they’d run out of the ‘cake of the day’ and there is a very limited handful of desserts on the menu. None I fancied. Not the cheapest place but also not the most expensive. The pre-theatre seems to be popular and it did quieten a bit after the theatre crowd left. But not so far as it felt empty - just intimate. Definitely recommend and we will return.

    Only one thing that didn't go down well. They had no bicardi. They were very apologetic stating as it was Sunday night and they had a very busy weekend they had run out. Everything else was top notch and so handy for the theatre. Won't stop me going back.

    Service was great, food was delicious, lovely atmosphere with the piano music. The piano player was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The pre-theatre menu is good value for money. The location is perfect, next to Charing Cross train station and a 2 minute walk to Kings Theatre. I would recommend the Fillet of salmon. It was delicious! My friends also recommend the fish & chips.

    Went for a pre-theatre dinner. When arrived early was advised to order asap as kitchen gets busy! Food was good and came very quickly. Restaurant did get very busy and noisy. We were seated at the back and it became very warm and stuffy in this area - would advise to sit closer to front of restaurant.

    2nd visit to Baby Grand and once again it didn't disappoint. Excellent, quick service. Lovely food and good value. The piano being played added to the relaxing ambience. Perfect pre-theatre meal. Thank you. We will be back.

    We dined in the afternoon before the theatre. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. The Asian crispy cauliflower starter in particular was delicious.

    food and service were good, but drinks expensive £11 pound odds a pint is a bit much even for city drinking with a meal. It was quiet mid afternoon when we got there, for a city place we will go back we liked it.

    Visited before attending the panto at the Kings, very accommodating as we had a large party (13 including a 4yr old), sat us in the seats were we could watch World Cup final, food and service was excellent

    The setting is really nice, all the fairy lights are lovely and a bit out of the way so it was a bit quieter which was nice. The person who took us to our table mentioned 3 times that we only had an hour and half, there was 6 of us so we knew that was unlikely. The booking confirmation didn't mention anything about the hour and a half, when one of the party tried to explain she became rude and defensive. The food was fine, the bread for the starter pate was stale but the pate was nice. The mains and dessert were pretty good, the schnitzel was huge and the side of mac n cheese was lovely. Wine was on the pricey side but pretty standard for Glasgow. We thankfully weren't rushed off of our table as they didn't seem that busy and all of the other servers were lovely.

    Great location for pre and post theatre. Set menu had a great choice and the food was fresh and hot. Seating was a bit tight and the overhead heater was a bit too strong. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Never disappointed here. Food delicious, piping hot and served by friendly, efficient staff. Live music in background ( pianist) which was very pleasant and unobtrusive. Owner a very warm, inviting guy who chatted away with our party. Would highly recommend.

    It was our office Christmas outing . We all chose traditional l Turkey Christmas dinner for our main course. All had different starters and sweets. We all thought it was great value as the 4 of us enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning. We went to Kings theatre pantomime which was very handy as theatre being next door.
