   There were 2 of us both celebrating our birthdays. We chose the outside covered and heated patio. Quiet as it’s still winter so there was only one other occupied table. We were kept warm with overhead and portable heaters. We enjoyed the Dine Out Vancouver menu which had a good selection of both seafood, pasta and steak. The service was excellent by the server and team. The food was amazing!! Generous portions which we ended up not able to finish but take some home. BTW, the view of the harbour with the ships and tankers added to our delightful afternoon experience. I’ll be back with another guest next week as everything about this restaurant is superb. Definitely 5 star dining

   We loved this dine out experience at the beach house. Although we coming all the way from Richmond but it was worth the trip. The food is way better than the first dine out location we had with our family members. Our server was great and it’s definitely worth the $55 price tag for the dine out menu. We needed up spending $250 with couple drinks and some oyster.

   We had clam chowder, tuna tacos, pesto pasta, and steak frits. They all tasted great. The tacos was particularly good with right flavour and nice texture. The soup and pasta are always good. Their servings were also very generous including the desserts. Service and ambiance were good as usual. Highly recommend!

   The food was great and came out fast. The service was poor. We were sat down and then the manager came over and asked if we wanted to move to a different spot. He then proceeded to state he would leave it up to us. Why would he offer for us to move if he didn’t want us to move. I asked if it was because the table we were at was for a different reservation (we had a reservation) and he said yes. However, we ate and left and no one ever sat at the original table. It was very weird and we didn’t understand why they moved us. They never gave an explanation. The whole situation gave us a weird vibe. Not sure why we were treated as so.

   A family dinner for Dine-out Vancouver. Lovely 3 course meals of salmon, seafood linguine and steak frites. One daughter with lactose issues had a great meal from the Beach House menu of sable fish. Tasty appy’s and desserts as well. Great bottle of wine and wonderful service.

    My partner and I went for dine out lunch at the beach house to kick off the first day of dine out. We wanted to try their options so we ordered: Appetizer: Clam chowder (him) Ahi Tuna Tacos (me) Main: Prawn and scallop spaghetti (him) Steak frites (me) Dessert: Chocolate cake (him) Strawberry rhubarb pie (me) Soooo… the clam chowder was okay - we’ve had better. The ahi tuna tacos were quite good I would order it again! For the entree, I ordered medium rare steak frites sub truffle parm fries and when our food came, my steak was medium well done and super tough to eat. I let the waiter know and he was so so nice about it and offered to remake it. So he took everything away and the dish took a long time to come but when it came, the steak was quite cold and tough and he forgot my sub truffle parm fries. Anyways my partners spaghetti was quite good though, 7/10. The dessert was okay, the chocolate cake was not that warm, but my pie was super hot and the portion was great. I’m just disappointed about the steak frites :’) I really wanted to like it but it was a 4/10. Service was amazing- our server did his best to help us and we really appreciated him!

    Miso sable fish was good. Server seemed to not have enough experience. Too busy waiting on a bigger table too. Has to serve our own wine and clear our own dishes and ask another server to help us order a second bottle of wine. Server poured a new wine into a glass with the first wine still in it! Two different brands of wine! He did offer a free 5oz of Pinot gris for this mistake tho. Pleasant person but expected better service for the Beach House!

    The location is very nice , right on the waterfront of West Vancouver . You can’t find a nicer place to dine. I went there thinking it might be a typical Earls menu ( which I love by the way ) and was pleasantly surprised to see how they took it to another level . The raw oysters and other appetizers were spectacular. The main courses were as good as higher end restaurants who charge much more The staff and the management were very attentive and kind to us. Clearly a well managed team!

    I come there often, and always get the crab and shrimp Louis salad. Not quite as good recently as it began. More dressing and seafood please. Staff this time was wonderful, but last time, one month ago, we had a few ordering slip ups. I will keep coming. I live a few blocks away.

    Service was excellent but noise level was so high that it was hard to have a conversation. Probably caused by the seating area which was by the entry level and had very low ceilings.

    We were seated at a terrible table even though we had resos and better tables were available. Service was terrible. Waiter forgot our drinks, food took a long time to come. Never saw our waiter until dinner was over. Took forever to get our bill. The staff fawned over the regulars (case in point a couple of regulars were seated beside us and were moved to a table with a view) once the managers came over to their table. Food was ok, service was very disappointing.

    Great service ! Great appetizers. Sea bass dish was a bit sweet. Pasta dishes were delicious! Louis Salad has changed a bit. Sea bass was Cooked perfectly. Fantastic deserts ! Overall the dinner service was much better than before! Will have to try brunch to see how it is !

    As a vegan, I cannot recommend eating here. Also, there was a lot of confusion as to what was available for vegans and non-vegans in our party with different staff returning to the table multiple times to amend almost everything ordered. Issues from juices available, dish availability for the non-vegan, bun options for the vegans for the one vegan-izable main, a burger. The burger itself was one of the worst vegan burgers the vegans in the party had ever eaten, being both dry and bland. Given the expense, I would hope that The Beach House would have put in the effort to match even the basic offerings at other establishments. Presentation of dessert was also underwhelming compared to average restaurant. The primary server and the host were both friendly and attentive.

    Delicious food; our server was attentive, pleasant and made us feel that she cared that we has a great experience. The view is spectacular and the walk along the beach after, the perfect way to finish lunch.

    We both had the clam chowder it was fantastic. The rest of them meal was good my salad had to much dressing but the meal was good . We were left 20 before someone came back to us to ask about drinks and both of our drinks were empty and we had our empty bowls sitting in front of us . And we hadn’t ordered our dinner yet . The restaurant was very busy but I noticed other people around were looking the same . We really enjoy coming to the restaurant we will come back but not on a holiday when they are either short staff or everyone was tiered for the holiday’s .

    After being sat our table, we waited close to 15 minutes for service, which we had to eventually request. One of our party was brought the wrong order. She had to wait while the rest of us ate. Apart from this, the Eggs Benedicts were excellent, and the ambience and service very good.

    Our waitress was fantastic. She made our visit memorable and to forgive that chef for overdoing the warming of my buttermilk biscuit (had as a rock) but did not want to fuss at the time as the rest of my BH breakfast was great. My friend enjoyed his eggs/avocado Benedict.

    My food was terrible. I ordered a bowl which ended up being mostly lettuce leaves. I complained and got a burger instead. The burger was horrible. Jose our waiter was excellent but the food was unacceptable.

    Great service - prices have significantly increased

    Our waitress was phenomenal. She made the experience stellar. My friend was very happy with her crab cakes and I was fine with my beef burger. Our reservations were early, 11:45am and must admit it got noisier as the afternoon progressed. We left just after 2 and the people sounds were likely at its peak. I prefer a quieter ambience but overall our waitress made the visit memorable with her amazing, attentive service to our presence. Will be back again!
