                                                                        The place is nicely appointed. The hallway to the bathrooms is God awful. A dingy corridor lined with old awards and newspaper clippings glory days past. The bathroom could have been in any dive bar. The food was very good. On the expensive side for one crepe and a very small but well prepared smattering of vegetables. Our waiter was good enough, however he had a constant air of wanting to be anywhere but there. Overall nice food in a dingy basement.

                                                                        The food was very good. Decor is extremely dated. Service was so-so. The downtown dining week menu offered a good selection of options, but otherwise the menu is very expensive. I've been now and experienced it, not sure that I would go back again.

                                                                        While in Edmonton we always go to here for the finest of dining. This weekend happened to be the 46th anniversary of there opening and I was there 46 years ago and hope to go many more times. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the food selection and presentation was excellent. You can not go wrong going here for the best dining experience you could have.

                                                                        Food was just ok. Smaller portion sizes for the price. Interior dated and chairs uncomfortable. Server was nice but never saw her. No refill on water glasses, pouring of wine, etc. Now we remember why we hadn't been back in so long. Over all a disappointing experience.

                                                                        A lot of popular options including gluten free. We usually go for the 3 course. Food comes out piping hot. The only negative was I asked for extra cheese for the salad and got charged $3.00 . First time for this in the over 20 years we have been coming here. which will make me rethink coming back. I don't mind paying just don't appreciate the nickle and dime stuff.
