the food was not good at all, I ordered a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken breast and received a plate full or old, crushed lettuce with some kind of soft cheese grated all over and BOILED half of a chicken breast that was old and almost freezer burnt. Needles to say, i was very disappointed as I was ordering corporate catering with Green Bean for the past few years and it was always successful!

Hi Iris, I'm so sorry you had such a disappointing meal. I have shared your experience with our kitchen to try and understand what went wrong-we rarely ever freeze chicken as we go through so much and although we often sous vide our proteins it's never directly boiled. The staff generally do quality checks so I'm sorry that was missed too. Thank you for letting us know so we can improve and if you'd be willing to give us another chance we'd be happy to buy your lunch next time. Jackie

The food was great but paying our bill was for some reason very complicated for them. We had 4 people and wanted to split the total bill 4 ways as we were taking our co-worker out for lunch. The waitress couldn’t figure it out. We asked for the manager, it rook her 3 times to get it figured out. Took 20 minutes to pay the bill.

Hello, We very obviously were having a bad day that day and our guests should never see when we are. We had a few of our regular staff out sick, new staff who did something really interesting while splitting the bill and I couldn't figure out how to undo it. I was sincerely mortified and am so sorry we handled it so poorly. It was definitely an opportunity to learn for all of us on our end and am sorry it was at your expense. We would love the chance to make it up to you. The Green Bean team

Menu provided wide variety. Our party of 5 each ordered something different and it was all really good and a generous portion. The background music was subtle and really quite good. Our server was very knowledgeable and respectfully attentive. Three of us were from Houston and two from Calgary. The two from Calgary had never eaten at the Green Bean and said they will definitely be back and they are spreading the word. While we were there for lunch and we didn't have any drinks, it appears to be a great place to unwind and relax. Will definitely be frequenting the Green Bean each trip I'm in town!

I saw on the open table menu that Green Bean had turkey pot pie. When I arrived, the menu was somewhat different and there was no pot pie. It was disappointing. My alternative was a pretty expensive salad with chicken.
