   We had a party of 8 on Saturday evening. We were seated at 7:30 pm and did not get done until 10:30 pm. I realize that this is a more leisurely dining experience, and we were not in a rush by any means. But the pace was far slower than it should have been. For example, from the time we were seated to the time that the first course, the cheese fondue, arrived, it was almost an hour. It was not due to our server, who was friendly and timely. I believe it was the kitchen. After the cheese fondue, it took almost another hour before we had the entree course. I did not complain and I really try to cut restaurants some slack since the pandemic because I know it is extremely difficult to get enough staff to work in any restaurant. The food was very good to excellent as always. However, if you have a large party on a Saturday night, be prepared for it to take a long time. It may be better to go earlier, say 7 pm, or even 6:30 pm, as the restaurant was completely booked up for the night when we arrived.

   I wanted to experience this and my experience wasn’t what I expected. I wasn’t a fan of the food and the wait times for the next dish or even a waiter to come to the table I wasn’t happy with. I was able to get cute pictures and that was all. It was worth the $300 I paid for.

   This restaurant has gone down hill. The booth across from us had wires hanging down and seat was ripped. Our table had loose wires that hung down and hit our knees. I had a 1:30pm reservation for my birthday. We didn’t get seated until 1:45pm then no wait staff came to our table to introduce themselves or take orders for 20mins. I went to complain to host and after another 5 mins waitress showed up. We ordered drinks and it took another 10 mins to arrive and a restaurant chef delivered drinks because our waitress was no where to be seen. Our section only had 3 tables set and others were empty so don’t know why our waitress couldn’t handle 3 tables. Now we have been waiting 1 hr since arrival and still hadn’t received any food. We decided just to pay for our drinks and leave the restaurant. I’m not spending $250 on lunch to wait hours for food and get bad service. I was so disappointed because I had been asking to go to the Melting Pot for my birthday for months and was so excited. We went to Harry & Izzy and had a delicious lunch.

   After seated, we waited almost 20 minutes until I flagged the hostess to request water. Waitress was doing her best, but was not able to keep up with all her tables. Food was good, but definitely overpriced for the experience.

    Dinner reservations were at 6, we didn’t even get our chocolate fondu because it took them 3 hours for our cheese and meets. Won’t be going back. When we were leaving the waitress was chatting it up at the front with the wait staff. Very unprofessional.

    We went to the Melting Pot for my daughter's 14th birthday. We had 7 girls at one table, and parents/little brother at another table. The restaurant was accommodating with providing us tables next to each other, separated by a little wall, and the same server. Baxter was our server...super nice and knowledgeable. Overall, we had a great dining experience.

    Waited 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Vibe is good in most areas in the back, but we were seated in an area that was ok at best and full of loud kids. Server was fantastic. Food was good, but mostly paying for the unique experience (which was very fun). LOVED the S’mores fondue!

    Was my son’s birthday dinner - drinks took forever to arrive (we were halfway thru cheese course) and then mine was spilled - no “sorry” just “I’ll bring you another”. Lighting in the restaurant is much too bright - there is no ambiance at all. The table where we sat was wobbly, (that is why drinks were spilled) and decor was very stale & dated (1980’s) Our Waitress was pleasant, but very inattentive….she didn’t check back to see if we needed more sauces, etc. For the price of dinner ($218.00 for 3) it was a VERY underwhelming experience. We won’t be back…..

    Evelyn was an AMAZING server. She made sure all of our needs were met, including a birthday treat for my father and being patient with our 5 year old! A young man (I’m sorry idk your name!) was working hard, diligently clearing our table and those around ours. A very fun, memorable night made better by Evelyn! <3

    The place was filthy. Service was so slow. We had a reservation and still waited to be seated. It took forever for food to come out. But the worst was that it just felt unkempt. Not sure the floors had been swept for the week, dishes were dirty. Things were falling apart. There was nowhere to park and we had to hike to the restaurant. And it was absolutely not worth the price. For the $200 we spent, I’d rather have gone to an actual steakhouse. No wonder all of the others around Indy have already closed.

    Awful experience. Had a 1:45 reservation. Didn't get seated until 2:35. Once seated we were ignored and after several attempts to speak with someone we left at 3:10 without ever seeing a server or manager. This was utterly ridiculous. We have been here many times over the years. Not sure we will ever return.

    Waiter didn’t check back much for refills, and seemed pretty inexperienced. Maybe he was new. Hair in my food and the room we were in was very warm with us already cooking over a heater. Took a group of girls for my daughter’s birthday as well and they sat separately and they loved their waitress and had a great time. So that’s what really mattered.

    Overall the experience was wonderful however the the amount of smoke throughout the restaurant from the food cooking was too much. I would recommend installing more ventilation in the restaurant. That being said the food was wonderful and staff was very friendly and helpful.

    We checked in five minutes before our reservation at 7 PM. We were then forced to wait 45 minutes for our table. When we were led to our table, we found that it was an eight top booth/chair situation that was split in half with another couple. So, for example, if one of the members of the other couple needed to go to the restroom, my husband would have to get up and stop enjoying our dinner. Not only was this set up like this, but there was a horrendous cardboard, divider, blocking the view and creating a horrible environment. They also raised the prices to over $100 per person and that did not include the 20% forced gratuity at the end of the meal. We stormed out after waiting 20 minutes for our waiter to come talk to us. Not worth over $300 to be treated like a fourth grader in a cafeteria. We have been coming here for years, my husband even proposed to me in this very restaurant. We were heartbroken and incredibly dissatisfied. They also had the nerve to mark us as a no-show, even though we spent over half of our evening waiting in their restaurant.

    We had a great time. The service was spot on and the only issue was that we were in a room for 6 people and it was divided up for 2 couples. I know it was a busy day but we spent a little bit to be there. It has be a great improvement over the first time we came after the new management. I would highly recommend you come and try it out.

    First time trying fondue. Braxton was a champion at guiding us through the experience, much like a shamanic friend bringing you back to reality after you slip a bit too far into the nether. Had it not been for him, this would have been a bad trip. Overall a fantastic experience-- will be back to try other options and recommend friends do the same.

    We enjoyed the Valentine’s prix fixe menu. The meat feast was delicious in the cow au vin. The whit chocolate raspberry truffle martini was outstanding. Fun extras with a gift certificate for future dining and complimentary Polaroid.
