The restaurant was closed despite taking our booking which was annoying considering we traveled 45mins. Fortunately there is a restaurant a few doors down called Paulette which we went to instead and I would highly recommend that one.

This was our favorite restaurant in London when we lived here and is still our favorite after revisiting this week. Roberta has somehow made it even better than it was. Exceptional pizza (red pepper with chili oil our go-to), fabulous specials, great salads and apps and beat tiramisu ever, including those we have had in Italy. Hidden gem in beautiful Maida Vale, near the stunning canals of Little Venice and right off the Warwick tube stop. Small and neighborhood- friendly. Every bite delicious. Do yourself a favor and go there!!

Great food. We are huge fans of the pizza and pasta here and often order for pick up, but chose to eat at the restaurant for a very nice, relaxing meal with good service and great food.

Great neighbourhood restaurant. The staff seemed a bit surprised to see us, but we did turn up at 5pm. Otherwise service was great, very polite and efficient. The pizza is decent, as was the wine we had. We sat out on Formosa Street, which is a pleasantly busy local road, mostly free of passing traffic.

Went for Saturday lunch. Place was empty. They seem to have changed the menu. Pizzas were nice and service attentive. However, an odd addition to the menu is a fairly average burger with no fries and no option to add fries. Dessert (chocolate torte) was also dry and overpriced at £9. Menu needs a rethink.

I haven’t been here for many years but it’s wonderful to see that the food is still exceptional and the staff are great. It’s a great neighbourhood restaurant. Delicious food in a simple restaurant at good prices (for the times). The tiramisu is well worth trying. One of the best!

We love The Red Pepper. From the moment we enter to the moment we depart we savor the warm ambience, attentive and friendly wait staff, efficient but in no way hurrying service, and superb food. The menu is various and inventive without forgetting traditional favorites, and each recipe is prepared with fresh ingredients. Fish and meat is tender; vegetables are firm but not raw; sauces are perfectly spiced; pasta is al dente; and salads are crisp. This is a neighborhood gem for sure!
