Trademark Drink + Eat
Then knowing exactly what the standard is, Trademark enjoys nothing better than tweaking it. Someone else had the brilliant idea to combine pork with beans, macaroni with cheese and gin with vermouth. We simply came up with a way to make you think you’re tasting them for the first time.
The mixologists behind our bar program understand that some drinks are made to forget a hard day, others to foster inspiration, and still others to toast old friends and instant acquaintances. We also noticed that good things happen when the atmosphere is properly stimulating. You’ll find the mood at Trademark as comfortable as it is inventive.

Excelent food and service
Katherine was OUTSTANDING! Her service was the highlight of dinner.
I ordered a panzanella salad ( you know a bread salad) and it came without any bread. When I asked for bread they underbaked two rolls. The service was good but food was uninspired and at least for my dish the kitchen had not even read the menu.
Experience was very wonderful the waitress was very nice and always checked on us made sure we had everything we needed and she even had a great sense of humor….
The restaurant was very slow. I had a chicken sandwich and the chicken was very dry and NO flavor.
The room was too loud with only 3 tables seated. Food was delicious and portion sizes were good. A couple dollars overpriced on their mains.
Catherine was witty and read the table so well. She was incredibly personable and made us laugh, hard. I felt so special and watched in admiration as it was clear that’s how all her tables feel. She really is something special.
I like the outdoor seating they added. Food is great as always. Service could’ve been a little faster.
Great food, nice location, but service could be better. I arrived at 5:40pm, but didn’t get my drink for another half hour. I didn’t get to put in an order for happy hour apps and missed getting a second happy hour drink due to slow service (she got 14% instead of 20-25%). We’ll be back, but hopefully get a more motivated sever!
Has a nice cocktail menu. Each one I have tried are well made.
Overall good experience. Somewhat of a limited menu but we enjoyed the atmosphere and they have a nice outdoor patio. Service was great.
I’ve been dying to try trademark since I moved to the area, it’s got the vibe to be a regular happy hour spot
We were looking for new local dining. Did not realize this was in a hotel. But no problem with that. The restaurant was very loud. Distractingly so. Beer selection was decent. Food was OK. But bottom line was nothing makes us want to go back or take guests there.
Great cocktail menu, reasonably priced food. There was something for everyone on the menu and it was not so extensive as to be overwhelming.
Enjoyed Mother's Day brunch. Everything was wonderful.
Surprised to find service this spotty during a half-empty service on Mother's Day. No Host/Hostess visible to seat guests. Long wait to order. Multiple validation/re-validation of whether we "have a reservation" (again, in a half-empty establishment).
Food was good, drinks were not. White Sangria is cough-syrupy-sweet. Very bad experience.
Thank you for a lovely dine in.
Perfect. Cute patio. Great service.
The service is good, and we enjoyed the buffalo chicken pot stickers. The crab cake salad was good too.
The acoustics in the place, even though relatively empty, were live and echoed, and the overhead music was hit or miss.
Good local spot for decent dinner. Reasonably priced too.
So happy Trademark Drink & Eat has re-opened in the West End of Old Town Alexandria in The Westin Hotel! The premise of the Westin brand is all about “well being”...eat well is reflected with locally sourced food and healthy ingredients. It’s worth a visit for the cocktail menu of hand-crafted drinks alone!!!
Thank you for your 5-Star review, StephanieF! We are just as excited to be open again to Alexandria. We take pride in serving the freshest ingredients with the most innovation. I look forward to raising a glass with you again soon! Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
Food was good, but the establishment needs more than one server working the floor. After the server asked us if we’d like dessert, and we declined, we waited 15 mins for our check. We just about walked out without paying.
Thank you for your comments, KathrinL. We appreciate you joining us for our first day re-open to Alexandria on September 10th. As we work to reopen and get back on our feet, we will be bringing associates back as things pick up. I hope you will give us another chance to show you that this type of service is not our standard for our guests. Please reach out to me directly so I may personally ensure you have a better experience. Be Well, Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
Overall the experience was just so-so. This place is probably great for an after hour drink or to simply service the near by hotel's traveler for a bite without the drive. I do not believe I will be coming back for dinner.
The hostess and waiter were very nice upon arrival. We ordered the chicken nachos as an appetizer. By the time the waiter brought us the app the chips were soggy and the cheese had started to get that film you see once the cheese starts to cool. We asked for more chips and the waiter was nice enough to bring fresh chips. Oddly, upon the waiter's return he asked if we wanted our 2nd course... we thought this was strange since we had order the main course with the nachos and typically restaurants will bring the hot food out once it is ready. The main course was good, but a bit salty. I order the short rib & cheddar sandwich and my husband ordered the salmon.
Thank you for your review, CarlyM. We appreciate you providing feedback regarding your recent visit with us and I am disappointed to hear that you were not able to enjoy our fan-favorite Chicken Nachos. I have passed along your comments to our culinary team so we may improve for our future guests. I would like to welcome you to give us another chance, as I am sure your experience is not our standards of service. Kind Regards, Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
As always the service was excellent. Jessica is very personable and attentive. The Huevos Rancheros was terrific as were the bloody Mary's. Will definitely be back.
Not really sure where others that have rated this highly have dined as it did disappoint me today. The burger my girlfriend ordered was basic at best and underwhelming. My crab cake sandwich was decent but not the best I have ever had. Try The Warehouse for the best Old Town or all of VA has to offer.
Service was fine, and the overall appearance of the restaurant it also very nice.
Would I go back? No, there are far many better choices nearby.
As always, the food and service were excellent. The Beltway Burger was cooked as expected and never having the candied bacon before, I was surprised how delicious it was. The Huevo Rancheros was more than expected and quite good. We would order both again. The Bloody Mary's were excellent.
Thank you for the 5-star review, Elphaba! We are so happy to see you enjoyed our famous Bacon Candy! I will pass along your kind words to our Chef and Mixologists and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
Thoroughly enjoyed our brunch on Jan 4. We have begun coming to TD&E every Saturday. The service is great and the Bloody Mary's are excellent with house made juice.
Thank you for the kind words, Elphaba! We are so happy to hear that you have become a regular guest and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
We went to brunch at Trademark because it has the best Bloody Mary's. The homemade mix is the best. Upon our arrival Jessica told us the bar was closed. She saw the look of disappointment on our faces, Jessica said wait one moment. She came back and told us she found the key and she would make the Bloody Mary's. That is customer service. She was terrific and we will definitely ask for her in the future. The food was excellent and the ambiance quieter than most places.
This was a very good experience. The waitress Ruth was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to explain with detail. Very thoughtful with our personal request.
Thank you for the kind words, really! Ruth will be very happy to hear you enjoyed your experience. We all hope to welcome you back very soon. Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Trademark. The service was impeccable. The in house made Bloody Mary mix was perfect. The omelet and Monte Cristo sandwich were excellent. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Elphaba, We sincerely appreciate your kind words! We pride ourselves on serving fresh and crafty drinks and food and we are happy to see you were able to enjoy both of those. We look forward to hosting you again very soon! Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
Ruth was wonderful. Food was delicious and served in a timely manner.
Thank you for the 5-stars review, Shelli G! We are very happy you enjoyed everything and we will be sure to pass along your comments to Ruth. We hope to see you again soon! Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
My birthday lunch.
Two Thanksgivings in a row, Trademark was quite cold inside. This negatively impacted our enjoyment, as well as our food temp. The atmosphere is lovely, however, and the food was very good. The staff should pull back from hovering over patrons. The staff were at our table almost as much as we were. Then, somehow, they ignored me when i needed the check. It took me 15+ minutes to flag someone down to ask for the check.
I had guest from NY visiting and they very enjoyed the experience.
Thank you for your 5-stars, Anonymous! We are thrilled you and your guest enjoyed our restaurant and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon! Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
Ehh, it was alright not my 1st pick brunch place

We are making strides to improve our brunch experience for all guests and I hope to invite you back to give us another chance at making it right for you. Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
Any too loud in there even with not that many people. The drunken porkchop wasn't very good for the price. Drinks are expensive too.
Thank you for the review, Nicole. We value all opinions from our guest and will take your comments to review our menu selections. I am disappointed to hear you did not enjoy our Drunken Pork Chop and I sincerely apologize that you felt our drinks were too expensive. I hope we can welcome you back soon. Cheers! Corey Branham Restaurant General Manager
The Trademark used to be the place to go for Sunday brunch in Alexandria. Very good food, plus $1 Mimosas refills and your first one. However, they have redone their Brunch menu and eliminated the Mimosa special. We were not told that until we started to order. So, no more Sunday brunching with the crew at the Trademark, going somewhere else.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, FLWineGuy. It's unfortunate you had such challenges during your time with us. We continuously strive to keep an updated menu and we regret that those changes have left you unhappy. We care deeply about the happiness of our guests and your experience is not on par with our guest's experience. We hope for the chance to host you again soon for a more positive experience. Cheers!
