Service wAs great. Very attentive and friendly. We were having Sunday dinner at 3pm so it was very quiet then. Lovely view, sit by the windows if you can. Food was good- portions are huge and good for sharing.
Everything was excellent! Highly recommended
Noisy, waiter kept rushing us
Food was adequate but unexceptional, very over priced for the quality. They try to make up for it with large portions. Server made multiple mistakes from bringing wrong wine to not understanding entree orders to misunderstanding dessert order. And orders were all right off the menu, no substitutions or changes at all.
Water and Wine is a very Good Restaurant. James and the Staff are very experienced in this business and make you feel welcomed. Our Waiter Mariano was top notch.
I recommend Water and Wine .
Love Water and Wine. Always a Great meal where you can enjoy conversation with friends.
Service was excellent. Atmosphere was lovely with a view of Watchung Lake. I ordered my NY strip steak medium raw but unfortunately it was overcooked. Afterwards the 4 of us ordered a drink at the bar and sat on the couches in front of the beautiful fireplace.
Non-intrusive & knowledgeable waitress. Generous & delicious meal!
Been dining here for many years service is top notch and so is the food. A bit pricey but worth it!
Steak was overdone for both of us, flavor was excellent on all items.
Love this restaurant. The Cajun calamari is so good! My favorite appetizer. Braised short ribs are always my go to. It’s expensive so we only go once on a while but it’s always worth it. The staff is exceptional too.
I’ve been there several times.
Always enjoyed food, service, and nice water view. Host, James, Thanks for the nice table and
Georgia, your wonderful service made us (include b’day girl) very ‘happy’.
We will go again soon.
Water and Wine is always exceptional.
The food is always great and the service is on the mark.
The wine list is one of the best anywhere.
Everything was perfect. Great server, fantastic food. Only wish is to ditch mandatory valet parking.
We were very happy with our overall experience at Water and Wine.
Delicious experience....the food, the maitre d’ , the wait staff, the ambiance! An escape from the everyday tension to a fairy tale experience.
We love dining at Water and Wine. For us, the quality of the food is key anywhere we dine. We can put up with lack of service or ambience as long as the food delivers. Water and Wine has it all. Quality food, excellent service and a location and dining room that lends to a very comfortable atmosphere for dining. This commitment to excellence has not chafed over the many years we have enjoyed dining here. We highly recommend Water and Wine!
This was our first time here and I have to say I can’t remember the last time we had such an incredible experience. Everything - the atmosphere, the service (Adam was on-point!), and the food - ohhhh the food! Can’t say enough about it all and we definitely can’t wait to go back. Thanks again for doing everything the way it should be done to create an all around superb dining experience :)
Food is outstanding and fresh. Staff was friendly, host James made sure we had a wonderful dinner
Best anniversary dinner ever ❤ food was amazing, great atmosphere.
Wonderful. My company hosts their annual holiday party at Water & Wine every year. My husband and I decided to give it a try outside of the company for Valentine's day 2019. We loved it so much that invited two couples to join us this year 2/15/20. We all had a wonderful experience from the valet to the food. We will be back more often.
Although expensive, this place is worth every penny. Great food, drink, and ambiance.
Valentine's Day was the second time my husband and I dined at the Water and Wine. Our first experience was nice and the food was very good. So with the special day coming up, we decided to make a reservation. I made the reservation through Open Table and did not realize it was a set price, limited menu. But we still decided to go. I think the atmosphere was ok. There was nothing decorated to really show it was Valentines Day. I did get a rose post meal. Our food was delicious and our servers attentive. For the money, almost $300 dollars including tip for two meals with additional costs for side dishes, coffee and a drink it was costly. We would go back but not for a special day. I would tell my friends to try it out. (PS. Valet parking only, additional cost)
Good food but was seated at the worse tabletop the worse restaurant. When complained to wait staff, response was they couldn’t do anything about it, although the restaurant was more than half way empty. on the way out James moved us to another table and was kind in settling us in. He took care of us, if not wouldn’t have returned
Great ambiamce and view at every table
Our favorite restaurant! Never a bad meal. The food, service, wine list, and ambiance are all first rate.
Perfection as always! James and Rita are the best
First I have to say that this restaurant is my favorite of all that we frequent. That is saying a lot since we go to many wonderful places to eat. Water & Wine never disappoints, the food, wine, and service are unmatched. The atmosphere is not stuffy, I feel very comfortable every time I go. We have a tradition in our family for birthdays - birthday person chooses the restaurant of their choice and I have spent at least the past five years celebrating here. Rita was our server and has known us for many years. She is always a pleasure to supply us with everything we need during our meal. We need to thank Rita and of course, James for making all of our visits memorable. Needless to say, you will see us again soon!
The service was very poor! Our server spilled a full glass of water all over my pants and suit jacket, got a casual sorry. Most good restaurants would at the least offer a glass of wine on the house or something, they did nothing. After we we all done eating dinner waited over 30 minutes to clear our plates. It was my moms birthday and my dad’s asked twice to put a candle in her dessert and the waiter forgot. The food was very good as always but need better staff for the price you are paying.
Amazing experience! So good we actually decided to hold our wedding rehearsal dinner there!
Excellent food, service and location. Recommend!
Water & Wine is the restaurant by which all other restaurants we frequent is judged. I have been going to this restaurant for many years and I really never have a complaint. When we go to other places, I am always saying that something does not compare with what Water & Wine has to offer. I want to thank Raymond for the perfect service he provided, and I always thank James for attending to every detail. I love Water & Wine and look forward to spending my birthday there as I have for many years.
Top wine list. We had the t-bone and filet mignon. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. The server, Georgia, was a pleasure.
Our anniversary dinner was delicious!
The server went out of his way to make our evening very special
Water & Wine in Warren are doing a fabulous job @ keeping there clientele happy & full!
Chris & his staff exceeded our expectations last weekend, we will definitely be returning soon.

Our waitress was very thoughtful and attentive. The service was exceptional and the food and ambience were top notch. A great venue for a special occasion or a nice evening out.
We were there for lunch and had a table overlooking the lake, just beautiful. And the food was terrific.
