Zaragoza Ratings and Reviews
Hi, I absolutely loved Zaragoza, however since the meniu changed, the food is just not the same. We had the fried calamari (i love this dish and always order the same). The calamari was cooked to perfection but the batter, all we could taste is the flour and baking powder and the new sauce that comes with it - lets say we did not touch it. The mayo based sauce is a better choice. We didn't like the patatas bravas either and the girl that served us kept getting the details wrong and absolutely was totally unpleasant (we did like the gentleman waiter thou). I love Zaragoza and always book all my family and friend parties there. However, i am not sure I will be rushing back as my friend who i have bought there for her birthday was disappointed. The cocktails were lovely.
We popped into Zaragoza for a quick bite before a concert. Really excellent food with lots of options. We chose 2 Pinchos and 2 fish tapas between 2 of us and that was plenty of food for dinner. We tried a couple of cocktails and both were really good (Can recommend Fusion Martini and The Powerscourt) Service was very attentive without too much attention and there was no pressure to vacate our table after two hours, even though the place was getting busy. Will go back for sure!
Food was out VERY fast ordered and all Tapas arrived within 5 minutes.
Initial service was good but when we asked for the dessert menu nobody returned back for 30 minutes. Dessert came out fast, 15 minutes later we asked for the bill only to wait another 45 minutes and only when we asked a different waiter did we actually get to settle up.
Sorry I wont be back anytime soon.
The food was good but overall expensive compared to other tapas options in town. Service was mainly friendly but a few times they tried to take our plates from us when we were pretty clearly still eating. Not sure if it was an honest mistake or they were just trying to rush us out. I probably wouldn't go back.
Couldn't fault the service, attentive without being in your face and noted the birthday in our group. Wide range of choice on the menu, Raspberry Rose sangria was a lovely take on traditional, as well as the cocktails and deserts all lovely too. We had a seat near the window which was nice to watch the world go by.
Very efficient and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our 95th birthday party a memorable occasion. Food was fresh and delicious. A variety of ambiance settings available, including people-watching by the window, bright tables under glass ceiling (our choice this particular time), and cozy corners for more romantic occasions.
Had always enjoyed this restaurant in the past, was a bit disappointed the previous time I was there in February gave them another try on Saturday and was quite disappointed. No one thing was bad just not up to the standard it was before.
Food was lovely but everything we wanted to order was out of stock which was kind of annoying because we read menu before arrival and we're excited to try some tapas. The majority of the menu was sold out . It was my bday dinner also and I found service very slow . Despite this staff we're friendly and the food we ordered was nice .
Very poor service on a very crowded Friday night. Long delay for our drinks, our food arrived first. The portions are not good value for money even if the food was nice. It was very loud and impossible to even carry out a conversation with my friends. We paid €30 each for not a lot of food. I'll never go back.
It was a great experience....food was absolutely amazing....staff members were very attentive and friendly...definitely will recommend to my friends and colleagues....thanks so much...and keep doing what you are doing.... Best regards Rasa
the food was very much average but served very fast. It was insanely loud and you almost had to scream to the person sitting in front of you. We had to move table (we got promised we drinks and in the end we got charged for them anyway... ) as they mixed up some of the bookings..
The service was efficient and the food was nice. I cannot call this authentic as it feels simply as a convenient place to meet friends. It lacks a genuine tapas feeling that I have encountered in some tapas restaurants/bars. I do believe the décor does not help as it is modern and meaningless. The food and service is ok though
So so... not special. Over priced for what it is. Service that was frazzled and I can't understand why.
Little flavour - again, puzzled how they've made tapas so bland.
Prawns were small, meatballs dry, paella more like fried rice than anything paella, bravas mushy... It's a well lit modern place in a good location - that's all it's got going for it.
Love tapas as does my friend. Our experience started off on the wrong note. We made our order with the help of our waiter, the first dish came out and it wasn't what we had ordered which we explained. Our waiter kept insisting that we were wrong and had ordered it. He was quite forceful about this. I think this left a sour taste in both our mouths for the rest of the meal. We both felt the prawn and monkfish tapas dish it was way overpriced for what you got. The house fries and the calamari were our favourite. Unfortunately we won't be back.
Amazing food, great choice for all dietary requirements. One of my favourite tapas around Dublin. I went Saturday and still dreaming about it 😻 I would highly recommend zaragoza.. the food, the drink and the great ambience made it really special and a fantastic night our with the ladies.☺ 😆
