A short walk from my hotel. Nice set up and decor. Food was great as well as the coffee. Already recommended to friends to go here when they come to town.

We really enjoyed our brunch! Our server, Paris, was terrific. Attentive, knowledgeable, and proactive. Adorable atmosphere. Also, nicely done, clean bathrooms (IYKYK).

The Library Bar at Scholar & Scribe is an intimate coffee, tea café and wine bar tucked inside Trilith’s beloved independent bookstore. By day, guests enjoy a refined café experience with curated teas, London Fogs, chai, matcha, hot chocolate, and elegant pastries including filled beignets, macarons, and a paired scone service with lemon curd and black currant. As evening falls, the space transforms into a cozy, candle-lit wine bar offering thoughtfully selected wines by the glass and bottle alongside indulgent charcuterie boards filled with European meats and cheeses, caviar, fondue, sandwiches and curated snack boards. Live piano on select nights brings jazz and classical ambiance to an already enchanting setting.Designed for lingering conversations, quiet dates, and celebratory gatherings, The Library Bar blends the warmth of a neighborhood bookshop with the sophistication of a European salon — a place where stories, wine, and fellowship meet.
