The gluten free menu was a plus too! We’ll be sure to return.More infoThe Bed and Breakfast at Peace Hill$$$$• Afternoon Tea• Williamsburg•4.9
- JJennie LeighLondon •1 review4.0Dined on 11 Oct 2026As an afternoon tea fanatic, the Raleigh Room at the Cavalier Hotel is one of the best offerings in this area. The room is very nice and has comfortable seating. The menu was as advertised, although we did not get assorted macarons, but there was so much food that there was nothing to complain about. The quality and variety of both the savories and sweets was excellent, and I loved the lemon curd and clotted cream. My one disappointment about the ambience was that it was very noisy during our visit, as there was a saxophonist playing live music in the room. He was very good, but the saxophone is a loud instrument and we were seated close by, so it was difficult to maintain a conversation. A string instrumentalist or pianist might have been more suitable for the Hotel to book for an afternoon tea atmosphere.More infoRaleigh Room$$$$• Afternoon Tea• Virginia Beach•4.4
