Best American Restaurants in Hertford

I had an excellent experience! It was very clean, the food was on point, our server was amazing as well. She kept the drinks, and food coming. Lol I love how accommodating this establishment was to me and my dad. He also enjoyed himself. If yall want to watch a game on a real big screen yall better pull up to Dave and Busters in Virginia Beach!

Our server was superb. He checked on us enough so we didn't run out of wine. 😁 The food was great as usual. Love the drunken shrimp and meatball apps. I love this place and invite as many people as possible to meet me here as possible.

Vintage Tavern was an unexpected surprise. We recently moved to the Western Branch section of Chesapeake and thought we would give this a try. The atmosphere and ambience was quiet and the decor was cozy. My husband had a fall cocktail with gin. I had the sangria mocktail. An unexpected surprise was, you can order any cocktail on their list as a mocktail if you do not want alcohol. We were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill and the mocktail was only $5. Many restaurants that we go to charge full price, the same price as you would pay for a drink with alcohol. I do not drink alcohol so this was awesome to me to be able to enjoy a fancy drink without the steep price. I ordered the special which was a flounder dish. My husband ordered the elk chops. Both were delicious, but those elk chops we're amazing! Our waiter was courteous and quick. For the appetizer. We had the plate that contains ham and biscuits and deviled eggs and other delicacies. The whole meal was delicious and the manager came by to check and see how things were going. This is the kind of service you should receive when you are eating at a casual fine dining restaurant. We will definitely be back! I did not get a photo of my husband's elk chops but I did get a photo of my flounder. It was one of the nightly specials and was absolutely delicious!

We always have a great time here at Heirloom. We had a wonderful dining experience celebrating my wife’s birthday! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. The staff made us feel welcome and helped make her birthday memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to dining here again. Highly recommended!

We’ve visited this establishment before . Each time was excellent, but they’ve ‘upped’ their game. Redecorated. New Menu. The chef is Amazing , and the service / staff very attentive. A great evening . Well worth a visit , even from Chesapeake.
