Best American Restaurants in Indiana

The Grand Concourse is my wife's and my favorite restaurant, bar none. We choose it for every special occasion. The food is excellent, the service is extraordinary, and the ambiance is spectacular. The only challenge we have is what to choose off the menu. We cannot recommend the Grand Concourse strongly enough. In fact, we just gave our son a gift certificate for his birthday.

Balvanera was a 10 star experience last night! Stefano and I had a fantastic meal with our son and his girlfriend. Our server, River was excellent in pacing our meal service and even created a menu for one of us with an egg allergy. We enjoyed several wine options and after dinner drinks. We ordered several small plates that were all extraordinary and shared the ribeye steak. Thanks to the graciousness of owner, Fernando we sampled 4 different desserts. This was just a perfect evening at fabulous restaurant!

We had the pleasure of dining here this past weekend, and from the moment we walked in, everything was outstanding. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The entire experience transported us back to Marco Island, Florida, with that same feeling of elegance, warmth, and upscale dining. Having watched downtown Pittsburgh change over the past few decades, it was such a pleasure to discover a restaurant that truly stands out and reminds you what a wonderful dining experience should be. From the quality of the food to the attentive service and inviting ambiance, every detail made the evening memorable. Without a doubt, one of the best fine dining experiences we’ve had in Pittsburgh. We are so glad we discovered this gem and look forward to returning. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an exceptional evening out!

Our meals were served hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The cheesesteak was fantastic - nice seasoning and well prepared. The shrimp and grits was perfect. Nice spice level and excellent seasoning - not too spicy. The tomato broth was rich and flavorful; the shrimp were cooked to perfection and the grits were southern worthy - smooth and well seasoned. Service was good - professional and courteous.
