Great happy hour. Our server was great. He was attentive, personable and kind. Suggestion for happy hour. Girl dinner, martinis are for people who work at ad agencies 80 hours a week and have two families in the suburbs. A nice Caesar and a fry and espresso or lemon drop martini or a French 75 (or finch) would heal.

Staff was efficient and helpful. Explained menu items well. Food was very good.

GVO is such a good time when you’re looking for a chill night where you can dance, have a few drinks, and actually enjoy some good food. I’d definitely put GVO more in the sports bar category, laidback but with a really fun atmosphere. We went on a Friday a little after 8 PM and it honestly wasn’t too packed, which I loved. they have a great happy hour if you get there before 8 with half price drinks & food . We had reservations, so we had a table, and I’d definitely recommend making one if you’re going. The booths are also PERFECT if you’re coming with a bigger group. Now one thing I didn’t care for was the plastic ware & plastic cups however , it wouldn’t stop me from coming back. The DJ was great, the vibes were on point, and our food came out hot and fresh. The mac & cheese and greens were definitely my favorites! 😋 The drinks were tasty too & not too strong, but definitely not watered down either. And one thing I really appreciate is that they haven’t gone crazy with the prices. They also have hookah which I enjoyed because you can order a personal hookah for 1 which ranges from $30 up . You can go to GVO, eat, drink, dance, and have a genuinely good time without leaving feeling buyers remorse & like you just wasted your coins. 😂 Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a fun, casual low-key night out!
