- CCatherineEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoHad a two course pre-theatre meal. Price was good but the food was outstanding for a pub, just that bit different and plenty of it. Service was quick and friendly. If I was to criticise anything it would be that our table was near the external door which was continually opening for customers thus allowing all the cold air in! We were also seated beside a group of young men having a drink before heading off to a party - they were just having a good time but were rather raucous and inconsiderate of diners trying to have a conversation. I sound complaining but if I say that I will definitely be back I think you will see that I was overall very happy with the evening and would certainly recommend it.More infoThe Blackbird££££• Contemporary British• Tollcross/Fountain Bridge•4.5
- LLorraineEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined on 24 Oct 2026Hadn't been in years, even started going there in late 90's! Food was lovely and, as a local hospitality group, you know it's not mass produced food etc. Our server was lovely, happy with the optional 13% service charge for him. Will definitely be back on my map.More infoIndigo Yard££££• British• New Town•4.3
- SSteveLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Oct 2026We regularly come to McLarens as a couple. We booked a Bar Booth for 2 and were told that we were being seated in their upstairs restaurant to which we had never been. It was lovely! Not too busy and really nice atmosphere. Service was great and fish and chips were perfect. I will ask for upstairs again, its a great addition to the property. And it would be very suitable for a special occasion like a family Birthday meal etcMore infoMcLarens on the Corner££££• Scottish• Edinburgh•4.4
- JJohnGlasgow/Lanarkshire •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Oct 2026Went to Gael and Grain before a concert at the Hydro. From the warm welcome on going into the premises to leaving we were treated exceptionally well. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Great value for money. The house Sauvignon was excellent and crisp. The service was friendly, helpful and non intrusive. Will definitely be back.More infoGael & Grain££££• Scottish• Glasgow•4.3
