Best Belgian Restaurants in La Plata

I had the Wagyu Coulotte from Today’s Rotisserie, and it was absolutely delicious! I especially loved the red wine peposo sauce. It was amazing! My husband had the trout and said it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. This has definitely become one of our favorite restaurants in DC! We can’t wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful dining experience visiting all the way from Boston. Our server, Mark, was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and accommodating. I was dining with my 6yr old nephew, and if you know kids, you know how picky they can be. Although there wasn’t a kids’ menu, Mark suggested some alternatives, which we really appreciated. My nephew chose the waffle bommekes and absolutely loved them, while my sister and I ordered the chicken thighs and waffles. Everything was a solid 10/10, including Mark’s exceptional service! I also tried the hibiscus cooler, which was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. Our food arrived quickly, fresh, and piping hot. Between the amazing food, refreshing drinks, and outstanding hospitality, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Mark truly made our visit even more enjoyable!

Party of two we sat at the bar and were greeted by all of the friendly staff. But DeMarcus is one of a kind! He has excellent customer service skills and he knows the Augie's menu by memory. He gives each customer the same level of attention. DeMarcus is definitely one of the reason why I return to Augie's!!
