We had such an incredible experience at Ironside Fish & Oyster! Everything from the food to the atmosphere and service was outstanding. The seafood was unbelievably fresh, and you could tell so much thought went into the preparation of every dish. Everything was delicious, and the quality really speaks for itself. The cocktail menu was another highlight. It was so unique and creative, with options that felt a little different from your typical cocktail menu. Definitely worth exploring! A special shoutout to our server, Alex, who made the evening even better. Alex was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely so kind. We never felt rushed, all of our questions were answered, and we felt incredibly well taken care of. I also want to express how grateful I am for everything the team did to make my birthday feel special. Those extra thoughtful touches meant so much and made an already wonderful dinner even more memorable. If you're in San Diego, Ironside is an absolute must-visit. Between the incredible food, exceptional service, creative cocktails, and one-of-a-kind ambiance, this place truly has it all. We had the best time and can't wait to come back!

This was our second visit to By the Sea, on our first visit I decided this was my new favorite restaurant in San Diego, I thought the ambiance, the service and the food were all excellent!! Our second visit was just as wonderful!! Hostess Emma is so charming and an absolute gem at that front desk! Food and service were perfect!!! Well done! Not an easy task in today’s market! Still my favorite new restaurant!!
