Wanted a good meal while in Montreal - outside of the smoked meat/bagel/poutine line of meals. Bar St Denis was it. It was fantastic food in a casual atmosphere. Great service, delicious dishes, fantastic wine. The music… late 70s / early 80s r&b was perfect! Would definitely recommend, would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing. I will think about this meal for a long time. It was also the first time our two teenagers experienced a tasting menu and they loved it as well. Staff made adjustments for 1 celiac member of our party, no problems or fuss. Highly recommend.

Bar George delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our server, Kevin, was fantastic: engaging, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely kind. The setting itself is extraordinary, with gorgeous décor and an atmosphere that immediately makes the occasion feel special. The food was every bit as impressive. My client and I ordered the Beef Wellington and lobster risotto, and both were outstanding. The Beef Wellington was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth, while the lobster risotto had a wonderfully subtle and distinctive flavor. Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and memorable food made this a dining experience we won't soon forget.

I love the cafe at Holts… I have eaten here many times… this time I took my old friend for a birthday lunch.. the wait staff are always so friendly and helpful… I had my usual Cobb salad which is really delicious .. my friend loved the salmon…we wanted a glass of white wine but we weren’t sure which one so they let us taste both, which was so thoughtful.. and generous… after we ate they brought my friend a few beautiful macarons with a candle… what a wonderful way to end a special birthday meal… thank you so much… everything was amazing… the food, the view and the lovely room… can’t wait to return!!😋😋😋

    This is my second year celebrating my birthday at this restaurant, and I absolutely love it! ❤️ The ambiance is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious! 😍 My friends joined me for the first time, and they loved everything—from the amazing food to the wonderful atmosphere. Such a fantastic experience once again! Highly recommended! 🥂✨❤️

    As always, impeccable service. I always feel very welcome whenever I come for high tea. And the team works well together. There are not many places (ex. St. James club) that are not snobby. I always feel pampered and respected by all the staff. Not pretentious. I look forward to returning again and again for tea.

    A perfect place to dine al fresco in the heart of Vieux Montreal. The steak frites is a standout, the drinks are expertly prepared and all of the staff are welcoming and quite rightly proud of this beautiful terrace restaurant with magnificent views to enjoy in every direction. A special shout out to Cassiopée, who made our visit truly wonderful 🙏🙏♥️ (An honourable mention has to go to the grilled sea bass).
