My husband and I have dined at Buddakan many times. We went to celebrate his birthday. The food is very special and exquisitely prepared and plated. They serve food on a rotation basis and it is meant to be shared by the table. However, we informed them that I am allergic to shellfish so our appetizers should come out at the same time. He ordered the shrimp and I ordered the crispy pork dumplings. My order came out first and my husband had to wait for his. The shrimp was delicious and there were quite a few. I ordered the General Tsao's chicken and my husband ordered the pork dish. Again, the sauces were great. We ordered the trio of sorbets for dessert and they surprised my husband with a beautifully plated Happy Birthday dish with a chocolate lava little cake a la mode. The servers were terrific. Our only major complaint was that it was SO noisy. We were surprised for a Tuesday night dinner. I would recommend this restaurant. You won't regret the experience!
