Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Washington Heights

A truly authentic French dining experience in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The food was outstanding, from the escargots to the perfectly prepared Dover sole, duck, and casserole. The wine list is extensive, complemented by exceptionally knowledgeable sommeliers. But what truly sets Benoit apart is its staff. The professionalism, experience, and attention to detail of the entire service team are remarkable. They understand the art of French hospitality and make the evening feel special without being pretentious. Excellent cuisine, exceptional service, and a wonderful location. Highly recommended!

We go to Paris Bar before performances at Carnegie Hall and City Center. The food and service are excellent. A very interesting selection of wines by the glass. And they now offer a Prix Fixe pre theatre menu. The room is lovely, and conversation is possible. Try the Harvest Salad, Steak Frites, Onion Soup, Salad Niçoise. All terrific.

Lovely restaurant with a great view of the city. Sliders and drinks were delicious.
