Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Temple City

This was our first time trying Encanto & we were very pleased at how friendly the staff was. We tried a number of dishes & I would say one of our favorites was the Pappas potatoes & the taco trio. There was a festive energetic atmosphere, they were out of their chocolate cake but the flan was creamy & delicious. I would serve ice cream with the churros, perhaps dulce de leche or even vanilla would be great!

The patio is Fantastic on a warm summer/fall/anytime evening. Beautifully lit/ comfy and not as loud as inside. We come here often and have experienced all seating options. Last night had a large party of noisy kids inside and the patio was PERFECT. The food is always delicious and the staff is fun, helpful and lovely!!! Kulturas is our fave latin restaurant. We've introduced family and many of our friends and they all love it too! ! We will all be back!!

Casa Brunch is a gem of a restaurant located in the Downey Promenade Center. The inside of the restaurant is cozy and pleasantly decorated, and there is nice patio area. The food we had was great. I would describe their selections as being Mexican-American fusion style dishes. My friend who is more knowledgeable on Latin style meals commended them on having many dishes that she usually can’t find in other restaurants. The staff are very friendly and engage easily with their guests. I will definitely visit them again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food we ordered. The tortilla soup was flavorful and just the right spice level. We split shrimp fajitas and the vegetables were perfectly cooked and maintained their color.
