We loved Buttermilk and Bourbon! The food was excellent, the drinks delicious and creative, and the service also excellent. The value for what we had was very good, comparable to other upscale restaurants, if not less expensive than I had anticipated. We will return for brunch again in the near future. Walking into Silver Girl feels a little like stepping out of a suburban town and into a swanky jazz club from the Roaring ’20s! The atmosphere is fun, a little glamorous, and full of character. The food is just as enjoyable. The menu changes with the seasons, which always gives us something new to look forward to, but some of our favorites never change. The popovers are a must, the roasted Brussels sprouts somehow get better every time we visit, and the gumbo never disappoints. But if there's one thing we especially look forward to, it's the cocktail menu. It changes with the seasons too, and always has a fun mix of creative takes on the classics and some more unexpected concoctions. We've yet to be disappointed! Silver Girl is one of those places that keeps us coming back. Great food, great drinks, and an atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel like a true night out.
