Best Cajun Restaurants in North Scottsdale

Sam the bartender was the star of the show. We made a new friend and got some great recommendations. Apps were solid. Korean fried chicken bao buns were the standout. Also happy hour is 11–6?! Wowzers. 😂 We’ll definitely be back.

Celebrated my birthday here yesterday and had a great experience! Everything was cooked to perfection. I especially loved the adjustable lighting at the table it really lets you set the ambiance. We enjoyed a three-course meal and shared a starter, and our total was a little over $200 including tip for two people. I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience. Definitely a great spot for a birthday or date night. We’ll be back!

Michelle, the AGM at Problems Restaurant & Lounge, made our visit exceptional. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, and her professionalism and genuine care really stood out. The food was delicious, and Michelle’s outstanding hospitality made the experience even better. She’s a tremendous asset to the restaurant, and I highly recommend stopping by!

Sugar Jam is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in and encounter the first staff member it’s clear the leadership here is doing something right. The staff are genuinely pleasant and welcoming; even their interactions with one another are kind, intentional, and collaborative. They have clear systems and have trained everyone with internation; all of this AND the food is absolutely delicious. The mocktails, the food, the service, the music, the portions are all a perfect 10. My only wish is that they had a larger space to serve even more people. Definitely make a reservation via Open Table to get in and out because there is a very real demand for a seat in Sugar Jam.
